Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Crucible. ABOUT "MORDRED" In the summer of 2003, I started writing the massive 1400 page monster of the Marauder's history for my little brothers. I was fifteen-years-old and going into my sophomore year of high school. A year later, I was sixteen and writing my last chapter on "Forever Alive." I'm always blown away at what exactly "Forever Alive" has become. When I began writing "Forever Alive," I didn't think much would come of it. It was my first fanfiction, and it was my last fanfiction. I'm not really a part of the fanfiction community, and I've never considered myself the "pro" or "connosieur" of things fanfiction-y. So whatever came out of "Forever Alive," I'm happy it touched people. I'm happy it's still being read today. And I'm happy I got to experience the Marauders' story when I did. I've not touched it for almost ten years, and yet I'm still meeting people in college who followed the series as it was being posted. It's really creepy to start to have a conversation concerning fanfiction with a friend of a friend and have your penname mysteriously surface. Also. I am now engaged. I tell you this news because we are writing a new adventure together. Please check out our trilogy, "The Rather Prolific Adventures of Captain Henley and Mr. Prower" at www.steampunkaneers.wordpress.com. It is an original story, but it has the same sweeping epic feeling as FA. We are looking to get this published, and I thought I could turn to you, my awesome friends at FF.net, to help us out and spread the word! Please enjoy and let me know what you think! When I'm not writing, I'm sleeping or reading Cracked.com. Now I'm an adult, so I guess I'm supposed to be cleaning or playing cards or ... I don't know, balancing my checkbooks? I'll get around to it. Below you'll find little blurbs about my stories to give you a taste before you start to read them. Thanks for visiting my bio page! ORIGINAL STUFF ONLINE WRITTEN THE RATHER PROLIFIC ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN HENLEY AND MR. PROWER (June, 2011 - ) AWARDS: WEBSITE: TWITTER: FACEBOOK: SUMMARY: The year is 1888, and the Second Civil War ended only months ago. Enter Cornelius Prower, a young clockmaker making his honest living in Boston. That is, until an eccentric airship commandeer recruits him to fix her ship. Soon, under the helm of Captain Abigail Isabella Cordelia Henley, Prower finds himself caught up in an adventure of piracy, espionage, Galvanism, murder plots, true love, and, of course, pancake eating contests. "Many stories you could read have all the concoctions this one holds, but this one … yes, this one is the rarest of books: one which tells the tale of two persons who are honestly and genuinely in love. Romeo and Juliet? Mere children. Tristan and Isolde? Coincidence. Mary Todd and Lincoln? Unfortunate. Tesla and Edison? Non-existent.But Abigail and Prower?" "He was concentrating and Gunn’s voice was unwelcome. In his workshop, the clocks did not talk. The clocks did not ask unnecessary questions. And the clocks did not disappear for an hour during parade prep-time to grab dinner without telling him." "In the end, it doesn't matter much what mistakes we've made ... just if we fixed them." - Cornelius Prower "The man in the other uniform ain't your enemy, Thoms. It's war. War's all our enemy." - Wallace Fitzgerald FANFICTION WRITTEN FOREVER ALIVE (August, 2003 - July, 2004) AWARDS: TRANSLATIONS: WEBSITE: (NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON) SUMMARY: Started in August of 2003 as a bedtime story for my little brothers, this story has become a great joy in my life. It is the saga of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs in a way you will never see them again. Based on the concepts and characters of J.K. Rowling, this epic follows four boys from the first day of school to their untimely death. This tragedy is brought to life through sorrow, happiness, and the never ending spirit of hope. QUOTES: "We Solemnly swear that we are up to no good. On this fortnight of October 31st, 1975, the four Marauders agree to follow each other until death do us part. We also agree to always keep secret the Great Power that we posess. Oh, yes … and one more thing. To make Snivellus’s lfe during and after Hogwarts a living hell." "It draws nearer." “I want revenge, Sirius. I want revenge on the man who killed them. I want to be there to stop him when he comes after us. I’m not hiding anymore, Sirius. He wants me, I’ll find him. He wants my friends, I’ll stop him. And he wants to hurt the people that I love, I’ll hurt him.” "He really loves me." "Now a man can make a difference in the world, even if it is a small one. We all have fates, including me. We can choose to make that fate one that will bring hope, or one that will bring destruction. Times are changing, and we must grow wiser for it. So now I must encourage you … I must beg you … that when you leave these school walls and enter this world, to not be as idiotic and imbecilic as the generation before you.” "True heroes are forgotten." "I don’t know everything about life and marriage and happiness. But I do know what love is. And I do know that when love is real, and when love is in its strongest form, it is the most powerful thing on this earth. It kills, saves lives, heals wounds, and most of all, brings hope. That is what you have done for me, Lily. You have brought me hope." "There’s a bigger cause out there. It’s bigger than any of us here. But we stick together, all right? We stick together and look out for each other. Because you four are all I’ve got left. And I’m not going to see you die. Forever alive, all right? We’re not going to die." "Je ne mourrai pas." “The ones who lived, who truly lived, they make an imprint on our lives. They leave their mark in our hearts. They change the course of our fates and our destinies. Those are the real heroes. The ones who cared enough for a human being that they rewrote their futures.” REVIEWS: "It was so wonderful! You did a very good job on it, and stuck with the books almost perfectly!" "It has touched me in many ways, and shown me the true friendship The Marauders had." "I absolutly loved this story. It has to be one of the best pieces written here! Your writing expressed all their feelings so clearly and it made me feel the emotions, almost as if I were them." "I really don't know how to describe Forever Alive. It's just...incredible. You put amazing depth into your characters. This was like reading something by JKR herself ..."
