~ about the works ~

Shelter Me was written around my last year of high school or so. That was when the original YGO came out in the US and I found Jounounchi (Joey) a striking character who fell in line with other anime male characters I found attractive. Unfortunately I stopped writing this when school got busy, and eventually after a computer reformat I forgot about it. I also lost interest in the series. I thought I actually lost the manuscript but found it a few days ago thanks to my cousin who egged me on about looking for my old fanfics. :P It is likely I may leave the story the way it is, because it feels somewhat complete already, but I know people will probably clamor for a decent ending, so who knows.

Obsessively Yours was started around the same time as Shelter Me. Kaiba was not a character I ever particularly admired, but I know he has the largest fangirl base (maybe Malik/Bakura compares to him now, I don't know :P) and that's probably what started my writing about him. I love this story but will need some time to map out how to finish it. It's hard to finish something when you're not too passionate about the subject matter anymore.

Coming Soon: I have been pondering a GaaraxHinata fic. xD Next to Kakashi, Gaara is my favorite character from the Naruto series, and Hinata is my favorite girl despite her secondary character status.

~ inspiration ~

I've seen a decent amount of anime, and read hundreds of books. They're where I draw my inspiration from. My favorite anime is called Fushigi Yuugi (or the comparatively boring English title The Mysterious Play), followed by the Chobits series and Serial Experiments Lain. Currently I'm finishing off Death Note (and love it!) and may look into watching the second arc of Naruto or starting on Bleach.
