Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王!.

HI!

My life is busy, way busier than I like. I am trying to get a new chapter of 'Reason in Madness' out every month but if I'm late I have a really good excuse... honest it's a good one I swear! The other stories are done... finished... the end. Everybody go back to your knitting, nothing to see here.

You can find more about me, my poerty and my art at my personal web site NiennaNir.com

I don't have my email listed because I'm trying to keep the spam down so if you want to leave me a message send me a PM. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If you'd rather I emailed you back just ask and leave your address.

Cheers
Nienna

Generic Disclaimer: I don't own anything, and I don't get paid. If I did I wouldn't be writing here, I'd be collecting nice fat checks from my publisher. All characters, places, and most of the weapons belong to Tolkien. The bow is mine.

I've fielded some recent inquiries about Glorfindel and I'd like to make a blanket statement about my background research in general and the Balrog Slayer in particular.

In HOME #12: The Peoples of Middle Earth, (reference guides compiled by his son from Tolkien's own notes) our beloved JRRT notes that it was his intention that Glorfindel of Gondolin and Glorfindel of Rivendell were the same elf. Elves do not die in the human sense of the word but are reincarnated. Though the general rule is that elves reborn in Valinor remain there, clearly there was some exception made for Luthien and so we can assume for Glorfindel as well. While there can be some debate in the canonical validity of an author's unpublished notes, there are a fair number of holes and gray areas in the history of middle earth for which we require some referential information. To that end we must piece the story together like any good archeologist and seeing as our only dig site is in the file cabinets in JRRT's old office I would prefer to rely heavily on his own notes rather than to presume that I might interpret his world better than he could himself.

My stories are well researched and I will stand by the validity of the 'historical' context.
