the bio

Currently I live on a beautiful island in the Pacific ocean. I suppose that's a lot of peoples' dream, to live on a pretty island with white sand beaches and azure skies, but I've always rather wanted to live in London.

I have a big imagination but little drive to write. I get ideas but don't write them down. I do want to get better at writing, though, which means I'll have to work at it. However, I have an unfortunate procrastination habit... I tend to pass the time in boring classes by drawing; and sometimes, even in classes I like, I don't pay attention when I should.

You may have noticed that both the aliases I use on fictionpress and ff.net translate to 'night'. The night has always been a time of wonder and magic, when things that don't seem possible during the day have the power to come to life. These noms de plume are a show, of sorts, of my fondness for the night.

Most of the time you'll find me online, drawing, watching TV, or sleeping. I also like hanging with my friends.

I'm one of those people who are content to keep themselves entertained with their own thoughts, who can sit and have a blast simply watching the world pass by.

I like to watch movies. Some of my favorites (that I can name off the top of my head that is) are Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Shaun of the Dead (do we see a British pattern here?), Constantine, Kill Bill (both volumes), the first few Scary Movies, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (I've seen it over ten times, then we lost the DVD. Twas a day of sadness.), and SO many more! And I absolutely love Jason Statham, Johnny Depp, and Keanu Reeves (despite his acting ).

And of course I love to read. Fiction, preferably, though I'll read anything that I find interesting. I'll read chick lit, thrillers, mysteries, preternatural thrillers or action/adventures (like the Anita Blake series), fantasy (though I don't like the Dungeons & Dragons, Tor published, mage/drow elf/whatever, etc. sort of fantasy), dark fiction, nearly anything! Shakespeare. History. Discussions on religion. Shampoo bottles and cereal boxes.
