| Off Dreaming |
Author has written 6 stories for Peter Pan, Sky High, Harry Potter, NCIS, Gossip Girl, and Chronicles of Narnia. This is my pretty bio. Name: Off Dreaming (rather explanitory, don't you think?) Age: 17 as of June 2 (senior in high school) Home: California, USA Spelling Ability: Good enough so you get the point. Hobbies/Interests: writing (no duh), running, softball, field hockey, dancing in the rain, smiling P;D, playing with my pooch, throwing my head back and getting a good laugh, being crazy with my friends, giving people advice (although I can't take my own), acting, thinking (yes, I actually do think. You can stop laughing now amigos.) The Meaning of Life: to live Check out my fictionpress.com site at http://www.fictionpress.com/~skeeterthegroundhog! Reason Why I'm Here: because I figured out one of my stories was "fan fiction" and didn't wan't fictionpress to get mad at me. ABOUT MY WORK (and other random things you might want to know) Lani: The Pan's Legacy: Lani is the great-granddaughter of Wendy and is secured by the blessings from the great Pan himself (as she so elegantly puts it). Daniel is just a punk sophmore in high school who loses himself while trying to get his parents back together after a nasty divorce- or so he thinks. As it turns out, he is the great-grandson of Toodles, one of the Lost Boys and must play his part in a prophecy to keep Neverland in the hands of the innocent. Okay, so this sounds a bit cheesy, but I think it's quite cool. Of course, there's pirates, Indians, mermaids, as well as a dose of love and philosophy. Okay, I know I'm just in 9th grade and I did a bit of...how do I put this?...literary analysis (ooh big words!) in Chapter 2 of a couple novels I've read in high school so far. The character of Mr. Loftis says most of my analysis and is inspired by my freshman lit teacher, Mr. Cheli, possibly the coolest guy you'll ever know. Anyway, I know this is a bit of a stretch for a person my age so if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or tips to make this little bit of text comprehensive, but realistic then feel free to give a shout-out. I'm trying to stay true to J.M. Barrie, and I've done a bit of research. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this (if you decide to read it) and give some input. (By the way, the only thing I own are the characters- besides the ones J.M. Barrie has already created.) Sneak Preview: “Americans these days,” she muttered. “They have no respect for children’s books.” Black Light: A funny oxymoron that seemingly exists in this world. Watch as Larien Telemnar, Clover Dalais, Madison Smith, Jake Cummins, and Peter Nickelby go to Sky High, an exclusive boarding school for superheroes in the making. The group clashes immediately, only to band together for grave danger and their final at the end of the year. I do not own Sky High, but all the characters are mine! This is placed years after the the time in the movie, so you really don't have to see the movie to get this. Anyway, my original inspiration was from "Teen Titans" (I know, I'm a bit old for cartoons, and certainly don't get up early enough to see them, but I was babysitting, okay? Of course, I got a little into it- Raven rocks the world!- and wouldn't let the kids change the channel.) and I wrote down what some of the characters would be like. And now I have refound my inspiration! (insert party horns and confetti) Let's have a party! Wait, no! Read the darn thing first, will ya? Sneak Preview: "Well aren't you guys the 'dream team'-Miss Blonde Bombshell, Mr. Animal Guy, Miss Hypnosis and Karate Chick, Mr. Strong But Dunce, and Miss Misunderstood With The Freaky Purple Eye Thing." "Yeh, we are the dream team!" "In your dreams!" The Reign of Kellyn Wood: Warning: 7TH BOOK SPOILERS!! It’s been 24 years since Voldermort has been defeated by the Boy Who Lived and time for a new generation to rock Hogwarts. Meet the dramatic and clever seventeen-year-old Kellyn Wood, daughter of Oliver Wood and Cho Chang. After her father retired from his job as a professional Quidditch player when she was 10, the whole family has lived all over the world. Oliver promises one last move and they end up in back in England where Kellyn and her thirteen-year old brother, Declan Wood, finally attend Hogwarts. They are immediately welcomed, but never-the-less make some enemies too and prove themselves as Quidditch superstars. Scorpius Malfoy, Rose and Hugo Weasley, and James, Albus, and Lily Potter make their debut. All the turmoil is to be expected, after all, they are the new kids. This is my first Harry Potter fanfic, so be nice. I rather like it myself. Duh, the character's J.K. Rowling created are not mine, but all other characters are mine, so ha! And if you have an issue with Oliver Wood and Cho Chang getting married and having kids, then... well, I don't know. If you feel the need to rant, I really don't care. I just thought I would stick two random, quidditch-loving people together. So yeh. Sneak Preview: “We’re living in a lighthouse.”... "Congratulations! You have been accepted in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." ... “Oh, I’m just wallowing in self-pity, being a super-angsty teenager, trying to figure out how to persuade you to let me pierce my naval, and contemplating going on a crash diet.”... "Wow... I didn't know straddling someone would be this awkward." ... "I didn't let go on purpose! I blacked out... I think." ... "See the pyramids around the Nile / Watch the sunrise from a tropic isle / Just remember darling all the while / You belong to me." Your Coffee Sucks and Other Reasons Why I Love You: Gibbs's hasn't spoken to his first wife's sister's three children since before Sharonn and Kelly were killed. Now they call out of the blue and need his help; their parents have been mysteriously kidnapped and it's up to him to find them. Meanwhile, the girls are under his care and he finds himself goign back to his fatherly tendencies. Will he be able to solve the case or will it turn out to be a disaster? Meanwhile, the middle child, Nia, is proving herself as a mini-Gibbs: stubborn, a bit distance, level-headed, and determined. He would love her except for the fact that she keeps on taking away his coffee. Also, Gibbs gets assigned to keep track of 20 teenage boys about to enter the US Naval Academy (aka Anapolis) and of course, the boys have to have an eye for Nia. Romance, drama, action, humor, and dispair. Really, what more could you want. All original characters are mine. I do not own NCIS, the characters involved, or the US Naval Academy. This is my first shot at an NCIS fanfic so be gentle, but know I'm doing it my way. Sneak Preview: "I have the number for Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs." ... "Hey Uncle Gibbs!" ... "Why did you leave us? We needed you. You needed us." ... "I don't care, I just want to find my parents." ... "I like your boat." ... "This is swivel chair war!" ... "Your coffee sucks. That stuff is so bad for you." ... "Can we stay with you?" ... "Can I date your niece?" Blame the Squirrel: This is a Chronicles of Narnia fanfic, set after the second departure of the Pevensies. It has been two years since Caspian has been crowned, and things are going smoothly until American-born Oxford student Astra Gorlois unexpectedly stumbles into the Cair Paraval court. Bestowed with a mission by Aslan, Astra opens Caspian's eyes to the world in which he lives in. Filled with humor, romance, and chaos, this story chronicles King Caspian's life as a man and the broadening of his vocabulary. This is obviously my first Narnia fanfic, and I am mostly sticking to what is in the books (versus the movies) with a few exceptions noted in the author's note. I do not own any of C.S. Lewis' characters. Sneak Preview: "First, you take my bagel. And now, you havemy arrow. This. Is. WAR!" ... "So this is what it must feel like to be on LSD... woah." ... "But then eventually we got P.O.ed about taxation without representation, I mean, I don’t blame them, it kind of sucks, so we were all like, ‘Okee dokee, we would like independence por favor,’"... “Since when do kings take orders from oversized kitties?” ... "You will make him into a man." "You mean I have to do...?" "No! Please keep your mind out of the gutter and on the sidewalk." ... "You need to get out more often." ... "Caspian. Have you ever gotten so piss drunk that you have no memory of the night and you wake up the next morning puking your guts and have a hangover all day? Well, we should do that!!" ... "Marry me." MY THEORIES Constructive critisism is welcome. But if you feel the need to flame me, I'll manage and try to make some changes. Constructive criticism is much more useful than a flame really. But if you want to rant about how my work "sucks", go ahead but know that I will not think very kindly of you. I just might call you a poo head, or something vulgur like that. (gives a nerdy smile) But I love reviews and encouragement! You review me, I'll review you. It's called common courtesy, people! | |||||||
