Hey there, name's Oni244. I've come to read and write on this site and I hope you enjoy the stories I write.

I'm not one for giving out too many details about myself online, so don't expect me to tell you too much about myself. What I will say though is that I'm male, have red hair, blue eyes, and wear glasses. My likes are just about everything, and dislikes are pretty much determined on the spot if I should not like it. Hobbies are writing, reading, playing video games(especially LOZ games), and sleeping in.

Author's Note: Where Life, Updates, and Thoughts of Randomness Occur
--Life: Been in collage for a while now, and I can only say 'meh'. I've also been working hard to get a steady cash flow into my wallet, so writing time hasn't been on the top of my list for a while now. I still work at it, but the times I honestly sit down, ignore all the distractions, and write a damn page or two are far and few.

--Updates: As noted above, I've put I:TofI on hiatus. I didn't like how the story was progressing, and hated the general 'thrown it in and observe' kind of writing I'd been doing the whole time. I'm completely honest when I say that, if I ever get an idea for a story, I just sit down and write from that first 'what if' without planning anything too much. If I do stop and think, it's for a REALLY big one that I intend to write AFTER all the smaller ones are done with. Itachi was the former example of my style, and while I'm happy about the 'general' progress -I did want to do a Super!Naruto story with mild Epic!Naruto length- the little details, as I've seen innumerous times before on this site, are what ultimately ruin it overtime. Side characters and the foreshadowing I'd put in was all wrong, and the backstory which I was planning on doing a nice section to was in dissary. I needed to fix it, fast! So hiatus was the answer as I mulled this stuff over. I can happily say that the story is SUPREMELY better just by what I've gotten done (again) so far, but it's going slower because of it. I once said a month would be all it'd take, but now two of them seem the best case scenario. sigh

--TofR: In this little corner I make odd observations and personal remarks about fanfiction, characters, and etc.
--First off, the Naruto Fanfiction section itself. In the two or so years I've begun reading stories here, 90 percent of them have been Naruto Fics. And out of that 90, another 90 percent of them have been mild to all-the-way crossovers with various animes/mangas/games/etc. And that's when I noticed it. One day, I suddenly thought, 'Why is it that, out of all of the fanfictions, everyone seems to inevitably cross something with Naruto?'. What makes the world Kishimoto made so malaeble that we can, succesfully or not, cross it with almost everything imaginable, despite the silly way it's crossed to start it out? Is it chakra, the Biju, shinobi in general, or perhaps the people themselves and their mindsets? I myself am scheming a way to cross The Dresden Files universe with Naruto, but admittedly it's slow progress and not even on the to-do list. But what makes us love writing such stories?
--Next up, The Girls/Guys of Naruto. Being a (soon) prime writer of Naruto fics, I just love the idea of making my dream pairing come true in one of my stories. But...the thing is...I love all of them...except Karin. She's a wannabe Sakura in my opinion, and considering the opinion most people have of Sakura -myself not included- that's saying something I think. And get this, I love yaoi, yuri, and straight pairings. So the world is my oyster in this regard, but then comes the time to choose. Who is the lucky...person...to be in love with Naruto, or vice versa? Frankly, it comes down to the flavor of the story I'm writing. EX: Naruto, moved by the words Zabuza speaks to him in his final moments, takes up the Kubikir Honcho and walks the path of the swordsman. In this case, just by that 'what if' I can list three girls and one guy to be the luck winner, and expectedly with the inclusion of a weapon I count Tenten amongst my options. EX2: The Kyuubi, longing to escape, acts rashly in the first few hours of its sealing. The results with ripple throughtout Naruto's life from that day forth. In this case the number practically jumps to infinity, but once I build the path of the story -in this case let's say he's a hanyou from accidental fusion- I slim it down to roughly 5 girls, two guys, and I idly muse about throwing in a fetish twist of some kind just for the hell of it becomming a harem fic perhaps. See? Being a writer can be hard, yeah?
--The Realm of Religion, Physics, and Canon are all wrapped into the same section. I can aptly sum up my thoughts on these points by either pointing to the quote down below, or simply say: Does a dream ever listen to logic? DarkFayt makes a solid point, because when you read fanfiction, when you read any story really, you leave the real world behind for a time and imerse yourself in a new one. You can't even think of one depicting a modern time setting with modern time events as anything like the real world, because anything can go if the author so wills it. And with fanfiction you just have to let the imagination of another build the foundation of this new world, and then let your own mind take you beyond the pages and words, to see beyond what even the author might've thought of.

But, despite wanting to write them all, some of them are mere plot bunnies to me, and I doubt I'll ever be able to write most of them as well as I would want to. So, not wanting to just throw them away, I shall be posting them on my profile here for others to see them and pick out one if they want to write it themselves. If you do want to write it, please PM me and ask for my permission before using the plotline. If I do give you permission, I might also give you the few notes I have on where I wanted the story to go, but otherwise it will be all up to you to choose how the story goes. Naruto x One Piece: The King's Headband
The Chuunin Exams have not been kind to the Sandaime Hokage. With the appearance of Orochimaru, his giving of a Curse Seal to Sasuke Uchiha, and the latest information reports claiming an invasion about to begin, Sarutobi fears that he'll simply die from stress before Konoha's enemies can strike. But as he plans on how to save the village, he comes across an old headband, one with a powerful ally behind it. He calls in an old favor to request for help, but unbeknownst to him the original owner of the headband has been dead for 20 years! What will happen now, with no foreseeable help coming? 12 years ago, Minato Namikaze did something incredible. Their roles are never changing, with darkness overwhelming light before a hero arises to save it. But what if one of these four, or even something else altogether, changed? What would the fate of Hyrule be then? Link asked this one day, and the Godesses answered. Several AU's, with different pairing each time. I just wanted to say that if you try to bring religious beliefs, laws of physics, or are even tied to cannon facts and timeline then you will have a very limited story selection on this site. When you open up a fan-fiction or book in general you need to leave your concepts at the door and let yourself be carried away by the writer. Seeing into the imagination and personal world of another is the reason for stories to exist. That is how you truly enjoy a story. Let yourself be absorbed by the words and beliefs of another.
