Some Kind of Biography

I'm a 19 year old would-be author, poet, psychologist. A would-be lots of things, really. I'm a chronic procrastinator and plenty lazy. I sleep until 4 in the afternoon if I don't need to get to work or college. I consider myself a hopeless romantic; not because the term is poetic and dramatic or whatever, but because at romance I'm hopeless. I think that was a joke. I guess that's about it.

Hobbies

I love to write (oh really?), and I love to listen to, compose, and play music. I enjoy mostly folk rock and alternative rock, as well as some progressive. I'm not a fan of hardcore music, or anything with excessive unintelligible screaming. I'm, shall we say...intensely into anime and video games. As expected then, I also love Japanese music, though again none of the hardcore things (-cough-Death Note's second opening-cough cough-).

Favorite Anime

Strawberry Panic, Serial Experiments Lain, Read or Die, Boogiepop Phantom, Trigun, Slayers, Chrono Crusade, Samurai 7, Death Note, Clannad, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni...eh, this is an exercise in futility. Basically, if it touched me when I saw it, I love it.

Favorite Video Games

Silent Hill series, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy series (obligatory, really), Resident Evil series, Persona 3, Forbidden Siren series. That's what comes to mind at the moment, any way.

Writing Styles and Genres

I prefer third person omniscient perspective, though I have an easier time writing in first person. Go figure. I generally only read and write drama, romance, or humor. I steer clear from angst because stories that list it as a main genre generally aren't very well written and are just an excuse to make characters cut themselves and use expletives in uncharacteristic ways. Angst being carefully embedded into drama or romance seems to work pretty well, though.

Current Works

Strawberry Panic - At Rainbow's End. I intend to make this the first story I see through to an ending. I'm sick of not finishing stories.

Completed Works

Strawberry Panic - Étoile. Basically, I just had Shizuma on my mind one night. This was written back in December of 2007, but I didn't feel like uploading it until now.

Lucky Star - On Patience, and the Priestess. Konata and Kagami belong together. That's really all there is to it. There's practically official studio acknowledgment of the fact that Kagami is in love with Konata. But that's beside the point. The point is, the world would be a better place with more Konata x Kagami; I'm just doing my part.
