Hmmm...I'm not very good at giving a vague biography on my life. I much prefer random ramble about whatever interests me at the moment. But, anyway, here we go...

I am parkingLOTinTHEidiot, your pretty-much-normal high school girl (whatever that means) who is unfairly short for my age, likes to daydream during class (which might explain why I don't do very well in algebra or chemistry), has a fondness for blue-rasberry jello, plays the piano on an intermediate level, and has adorably mismatched thumbs.

Yes, you heard me. My thumbs don't match. But I still love them (and my parents, who I partially blame for this phenomena) anyway.

I am addicted to listening to music, specifically the classic rock band Queen (y'know, We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody...Freddie Mercury, anyone?...Bueller? Bueller?). I find music to be a great source of inspiration, both for songfics and just when you're in a tough spot and can't think of what to write.

Right then. You don't care about any of that. On to the writing portion of my life.

My love affair with fanfiction.net started somewhere along three years ago when I was going through my Phantom of the Opera phase...oh good times, good times...and I discovered this paradise. I've moved on (to some extent), but have still kept my love for reading fanfictions and have become a full-fledged writer myself for about two years now.

Impossible pairings are my favorite, "impossible" defined as one or both of the characters in a fandom liking someone completely different canon-wise and the story/game/etc. being completely derailed if this attraction were to actually happen. There's an element of tragedy to them, I suppose, but I guess I think that everything that you want to happen but just can't ever be has a certain bittersweetness to them.

I usually dislike AUs, unless they're still very close to the original storyline with just a little twist or are still believeable, or are just for insanity's sake. I'm also not very fond of OCs, unless it's Talitha Koum's Nevaeh in possibly the best Kingdom Hearts story ever, That's Why. My biggest pet peeve, however, are cheesy or stupidly pointless endings. You know, someone dies or you just get the overall feeling when you look away from your monitor and go "I want the last five minutes of my life back...I can't believe I actually read that."

I'm pretty OCD when it comes to spelling and grammatical errors. I can understand a misspelled word here and there, but if you're too lazy to admit you might have a problem with your basic English punctuation...well, it just really gets in the way of enjoying a story, let's just say.

I don't stick to one form of writing. I like fluff and humor in my stories, and I enjoy both multi-chaptered fics and oneshots. Pairings in my stories are also subject to change, usually based on what would work best in the situation I'm trying to capture. I've also begun experimenting with a little yaoi now and then, but nothing too serious. That's just a whole other territory of sloppily-written, "OMGKAWAII", clichéd rant-worthy problems that I don't want to get into...

And fair warning: My fanfictions can be updated frequently or suddenly dropped without any notice. Like I said before, I am a high school student (taking multiple AP courses) with a heavy workload and extracurricular activities and I am also known to be lazy every now and then. What can I say? We're all human. I also tend to "lurk" more than log in to my account and respond to reviews (thought I WILL eventually). It tends to slip my mind. I apologize in advance.
