I don't REALLY write fan fiction anymore... at the moment... I don't read too much of it either, but I check out the archive here every once in a while.

My favorite FF couples are: SnapexHermione, SarahxJareth, CartmanxWendy, Ivy WalkerxNoah Percy, Anne ShirleyxGilbert Blythe, DonnaxHyde DylanxTrance, Seven of NinexDoctor, Luke DanesxRory Gilmore, JasminexJafar, VioletxCount Olaf, Lisa SimpsonxNelson Muntz.

I don't like fandom cliches, OCs, self harm/attempted suicide, love at first sight or soapboxing, and I flat-out will not read mpreg unless it's being satirized. I am a het shipper.

Most songfics lead me to suspect that FF authors spend a lot of time humming along with the radio, thinking Damn have I got some profound taste in music.

But. Fan fiction is ESCAPE. So no matter how shitty it is, it's making somebody out there at least a little bit happy. Which is awesome.
