I'll read (and write) almost anything that you can come up with. I'm an English major, a history minor, and I've got no idea what I'm doing with my life. I'm nineteen and a college sophmore (sort of, but that's a long and complicated story). I like to travel and I like to write and--clearly--I like to read/watch tv/watch movies. I write both slash and het, and I write just about anything. (Which you can see if you look at what I have posted.) I also write normal fiction, where I mostly write fantasy, and I would love to be published one day. I'm an active participant in both NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy. This is my second year at both, so I'm currently working on finishing this years novel and rewriting last years novel and screenplay (as well as trying to figure out what I'll be doing for Screnzy this April and working on various other novels and short stories). I'm pathera on those websites as well, if you'd like to look me up, and I'm always looking for friends to poke and prod me into not procrastinating. And speaking of procrastination...I'm terrible. Research papers? I do them the night before they're due. The same goes for fanfics. I also have a habit of not posting anything for a while and then posting a ton of stories all at once. I don't like to just post one chapter of one story when there are people waiting to read a chapter of a different story, so I like to wait until I have new chapters for all of my stories and post them at the same time. Most of my stuff is one-shots because I have this little problem with chaptered stories. I start them and then I never finish them. Clearly, this is a problem. It is one I am trying to remedy. Now, what do I like to read/watch/play? You can see from my posted stories that I've written for a number of fandoms. I tend to write whatever stirkes my fancy. I have a long list of ideas in a word document (which is going on thirty pages in size eight point five font, so that tells you something). If I watch something or read something and an idea pops into my head there's a good chance that it'll end up here. However, some of my favorites happen to be: Movies: Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, the Ocean's Trilogy, The Mummy/The Mummy Returns, A Knight's Tale, America's Sweethearts, Wimbledon, X-Men 2, Saved!, The Breakfast Club, Lake Placid, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Grease, Newsies, Star Trek (2009, Search for Spock, Wrath of Khan, Long Voyage Home, I love them all) , Step Up (1 and 2), and dozens of others that I simply can't remember right there. I have a love affair with so-called bad movies, the ones that have B-list (or C-list) stars and have low budgets and are only rated half a star and are so phenomenally bad that you can't help but love them. Especially ones that you find on the sci-fi channel. Most of them, though, I don't write fanfics for, haha. TV Shows: Supernatural, Friends, Psych, Burn Notice, 24, House, Sliders, Roswell, Bones, CSI (old school early seasons only though), Star Trek: TOS, and tons more. I also happen to have a love affair with cooking shows. The food network is like love to me. Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Iron Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef...I love them all. Of course, I can't cook worth a damn, but I still love it. I love autobiographies and travel books as well. Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential is fantastic, as are all of Bill Bryson's books, particularly A Walk in the Woods. Music: The Hush Sound, The Academy Is, Taking Back Sunday, Hollywood Undead, The All American Rejects, The Bravery, Cobra Starship, Hawk Nelson, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Alkaline Trio, just about every soundtrack ever made, and hundreds of others. As for my posted writing, I have various random one-shots in tons of different catagories, but the main fandoms I write for are Psych, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Star Trek, and The Mummy. Oddity--Psych Intuition--Shawn Spencer doesn’t really believe in the paranormal, but he can’t shake the feeling that something terrible is about to happen. Shassie slash, rated for gore. Twoshot. First in the series. Paranormal--Shawn Spencer isn't dead...yet. He is, however, transparent, and the only person who can see him is the one who most refuses to let him go. Slash, Lassi/Shawn. Second in the series. And yes, there are plans for a continuation! At the end of Paranormal, in my author's note, I quite firmly stated that it was the end of the story, that I wouldn't be writing any further because I simply didn't have any inspiration for it. Well, here's the thing. I lied. At the time I was completely truthful. And then, out of nowhere, I came up with not one but two ideas for this arc. So there are now plans for both a sequel to Paranormal and a prequel to Intuition. The first deals with the aftermath of everything that happen previously as well as the further development and trials of Shawn and Lassie's new relationship; the latter deals with more background development on said relationship prior to the events of Intuition (because it has been mentioned in reviews that their relationship seems to come completely out of nowhere, and I'd like to rectify that). I'm not making any promises on when either of these fics will show up (because I am working on other things at the moment, both fics and my own original fiction), but they will show up at some point. Secrets, Secrets--Harry Potter Not Me--Ron's proposal doesn't go quite the way he expected. FW/HG. One-shot. Meant to Be--The sequel to Not Me, in which someone gets married, someone is secretly engaged, someone gets snogged, and Molly Weasley has a fit. One-shot. Years after the events of Disorientation, Sam Winchester had almost entirely forgotten the six months he spent in the care of a foster family. He and Dean are drawn to the deserts of Nevada, only miles away from the glitzy world of Las Vegas, to investigate a series of unusual, fiery deaths. While there Sam stumbles upon more than just supernatural forces; he finds himself face to face with Lydia, the girl from his past. Set third season after Bad Day at Black Rock. (I know I promised this soon after completing Disorientation, but I have zero inspiration for it. It will eventually get done, but I'm not making any promises as to when.) Rules To Live By--A series of Supernatural drabbles focusing on the rules John Winchester set for his boys and the ones they learned for themselves. (13 of 50 drabbles completed). Crusaders of the Caped Persuasion--Sam and Dean Winchester find themselves transported into the strangely realistic world of Gotham City. A slight Supernatural/Dark Knight crossover. Should run about ten chapters. (3 of 10 chapters completed). New World--When Dean is pulled out of hell he passes through three parallel universes and witnesses how much of a difference a slight change in events can make. Set before Lazarus Rising. Should run about twenty to twenty-five chapters. (3 of 20-25 chapters completed). Theory of Possible Worlds--The "Final Battle" between Harry and Voldemort turns out to not be quite as final as expected, when a strange turn of events sends Harry to a 1977 Hogwarts. A twist on the old time travel cliches, that is (hopefully) at least somewhat clever. Should run maybe 15 chapters. (2 of 15 chapters completed). Echoes--Harry defeated Voldemort at a terrible cost and he would do anything to change things. Lucky--perhaps--for him, Fate seems to have a soft spot for him. A goddess of Fortune gives him an opportunity to go back in time and change things. Unfortunately for him, destiny is a stubborn thing, and much harder to change than one might expect. Another time-travel story with a twist. (0 chapters completed). Seclusion--The Dursleys have gone too far in their abuse and Tom Riddle is forced to rescue his nemesis. Alliances are formed, rituals are performed, and Tom Riddle rediscovers what his conscience is (sort of). A mildly Dark Harry and TR/HP pairing. Expected to run around thirty to thirty-five chapters. (10 of 35 chapters completed). Home--When the world crashes down around him, Mark flees from New York, returning to his childhood home to hide from the realities and his own feelings.
