The Basics

I am a 25-year-old college graduate--with a degree in English--who enjoys reading and writing. I have written various things, both original and of the fanfic nature, but have never gotten anything published. I would like to have this happen one day. I'm an author of several at fictionpress.com and go under the penname Patricia Louise there. I am a fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Batman, Castlevania(SOTN, LoI, CoD), Forever Knight, The Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer,and basically anything in the general supernatural, fantasy area. I'd also like to recommend the work of my best friend, Slinky_And_The_BloodyWands, and another best friend of mine, Blitz-the-Falling-Blunder,for some great fics.

Updates On Me

Feb. 8- My friend-Slinky_and_the_BloodyWands-have opened an account together under the name of QuillsandValium. We have a major crossover coming called The Concept of Good. It is a crossover between Castlevania, Vampire Hunter D, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Harry Potter. Don't worry, I think you can catch on with all of them even if you're not a fan of all of them. I'll update later to tell you where it will be posted. Until then, tootles!

August 29- I shall be writing on a combined fanfiction even more under the penname NJOW, which stands for "Never Jump Out a Window." Don't ask. Just read. It's based on our (Slinky_and_the_BloodyWands, Blitz_the_falling_blunder, Avian Swallow--formally Falconwing, and myself) Harry Potter RPG...it shall be called "World's Clash" It'll be a crossover between Harry Potter and many different things. Please read it! Oh, and thanks for all your patience and kind reviews. Those all really make my day! Thanks again!

August 31- World's Clashhas been posted! I ask that you please review to let me and my fellow RPGers know what you think. Please give it a few chapters, though. I know it will sound confusing at first, but I'm doing everything in my power in the chapters to come to make it less confusing. Thanks!

Jan. 5, 2010-- An update with some sad news in regards to two of my older fics, Treasures of the Founders and The Gods Must Be Greek. After years of wrestling whether I had the inspiration to return to them, I've finally decided...sorry, folks, but they've been axed, ended, terminated. In other words, I've removed them. Many thanks to those who, over their sporadic updates, kept up and read them. You were much appreciated.

March 1-- My birthday is precisely one week away. I have graduated college. I'm still looking for a job (anyone out there want to hire an English Major with 2-2 1/2 years library experience?). I'm slowly working towards updating ALL my currently unfinished fics... of course, with the goal to finish them. To further update, I've added a link below and I will be adding a new poll above soon.

April 21-- I know I haven't updated here in a while, but I thought I'd drop by and let everyone know what's up. I have not given up fanfic writing, but I am currently trying to get some of my original stuff published. And I don't have reliable, working internet. But, I've been working on a couple of chapters, so until then... please, have patience.

April 26-- Fantastic news! I got one of my poems published in an Ezine (it also has a print verison that I think is more available) that goes by the name of Emerald Tales. I've very happy about this! So, in other news, updates are in progress... expect some this upcoming week. But, I do have other deadlines I'm trying to meet. I thank everyone for their patience once again. I've also added a link below, if anyone's interested.

Jan. 19, 2011-- Okay, so I'm still alive, still working on both my original and fan fiction. So, on that note, since I've got so many unfinished chapter fics, I thought that all of you might want to know where some of them stand. So here it is:

Trials, The Funny Thing about Keys, and The Building Blocks of Good and Evil: Still very active. In fact, Building Blocks is almost finished, and you can expect an update on Trials very soon.

Batman's Guide, Youth and Innocence, Years After, and Baby Makes Three: I'll be honest... for the most part, these are entirely outlined. Well, Batman's Guide is decided by the reviewers, which I'll try to get to that next drabble soon. But, I've recently moved residences, and in the moving process my notes have gotten packed up... I've yet to figure out where they're at. I'm sure I have them, I vividly remember packing them, but they're just not here right now. So, I'll be working on these stories again as soon as I find them.

Delivery, Pardoning the Prince, My Love for Them, Tip of the Theological, and Sisterhood: The problem with these is that I know what I want to happen... I just haven sussed out the order of those things yet. As soon as that's finally figured out, I'll be back to them. As for Delivery... expect the next chapter sometime in February.

The Meaning of Love and What We're Given: I love these guys. I will return to them. But I've got some major, major, issues to work out with them.

Of Old Gods and Archaeologists, Enchanted Woman, Exchanges of Love, Prophecy of Seven, From Diamond to Coal, and Because of You: They're not abandoned, first of all. Second of all, they are, however, on hiatus. Of Old Gods, I have Slinky_And_The_BloodyWands working through that one with me. As for the others, I need to work them them even more than the two listed above. These stories will be back, but I could not even begin to say when.

So there it all is, in summary. I'm still here, I'm still incredibly busy, and I'm still thinking about my stories. As for some promised stories that have yet to even be posted, like How to Save a Dhampire, Family, and so on... they're on their way, trust me. In fact, they're sort of the subject of my next poll. Which, btw, this poll goes down tomorrow night, so get in your votes! Thanks for reading!

April 8- Okay, so The Building Blocks of Good and Evil is done! I've been going through some rough things here lately, but my next fanfiction project: finishing Trials. Just to let you know that I'm still here!

Sorry, folks...I wouldn't expect to ever see these stories. I just don't have the steam to write them like I did when I first came up with them. Sorry to anyone who really wanted them. Update 9-02-09 Sadly, the fic Molly has been added to this list. I just don't forsee me doing a whole fic with this plotline, but I might work it into another fic as a subplot.
