Something that might be nice for all to know...if you talk to me in a review (i.e. say something funny, ask a question, or something of that nature other than "good," "cool," "nice," or some other thing like that), I do reply back. I may not do so immediately, but I will before I put up the next chapter.

The Basics

I am a 23-year-old Senior in college who enjoys reading and writing. I have written various things, both original and of the fanfic nature, but have never gotten anything published. I would like to have this happen one day. I'm an author of several at fictionpress.com and go under the penname Patricia Louise there. I am a fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Batman, Castlevania(SOTN, LoI, CoD), Forever Knight, The Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer,and basically anything in the general supernatural, fantasy area. I'd also like to recommend the work of my best friend, Slinky_And_The_BloodyWands, and another best friend of mine, Blitz-the-Falling-Blunder,for some great Harry Potter fics.

Alright, I've decided to do a favorites list of sorts. Just so everyone can get to know me. Even though, things like favorite characters are obvious according to my fics. Okay, here goes:

Favorite Characters:

From Buffyverse and Angelverse: Buffy, Xander, Angel, Spike, Illyria(don't hate me! I liked Fred too!), Andrew, Giles, and Willow.

Yeah, if it's written well and with a favorite character...I probably like it, am writing it, or will write it.

Things People Should Know About Me:

There are certain small tidbits about me that will better help people understand and know me. This list may get longer or shorter depending on my mood (like I need a longer profile, right?). Here it goes:

1) My needs are food, friends, family, my fiance, and writing. If denied these needs, I may become volatile.

2) I use fanfiction terms and abbreviations like I expect everyone to know what they mean.

3) I will happily explain anything I know about. I love being knowledgable.

4) I always refer to Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger as The Trio or The Golden Trio.

5) Snape is life.

6) I believe inspiration for art, stories, etc. can come from anywhere. Even from a Christmas tree topper (see note at bottom of this list)

7) I'd like to believe that there is more than what we know out there.

8) I believe in alien life (but not to the point where I'm out every night looking for UFOs).

9) I believe in the ability to love someone without liking them at all.

10) I love to reference things in my stories from other things or other stories (even my own).

11) I can't draw, but I wish I could.

12) I try to look past intial impressions of people and try to find out what's really going on. I am not always successful at this.

13) My tastes in music are vast...even encompassing certain country songs. These country songs probably all add up to be about .1 percent of the music I listen to willingly.

14) Yet another is to see my novel-somehow-still-in-progress-although-it-has-been-technically-finished-for-years published.

15) I love any holiday that you can cook, decorate, or just celebrate. Even holidays like 4th of July are fun for me...even though I only shoot off fireworks. My all time favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.

16) At 23 years old, I still love playing dress up.

17) I want four children and thus have four names for each gender picked out. They are: Morganna Desirae, Luna Raven, Tempest Celeste, and Soleil Garnet for girls and Ian Xavier, Connor Deakon, Joachim Malachi, and an undesignated fourth for boys.

18) I am both highly organized and very messy.

19) I am girly to the point that I like clothes, make-up, and to talk about boys...but I can't make these a conversation for too long. The consequences of such would be my head exploding.

20) Batman is the greatest superhero ever, followed by (but not too closely) Wonder Woman and Spiderman.

21) Superman sucks and needs to die.

22) Tied with Batman for greatest superhero ever is Darkwing Duck.

23) Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Negaduck, Steelbeak, and Bushroot are the greatest villains ever.

24) Where did all the 80s music go?

25) My mood affects everything I do and when I do it.

26) I am very opinionated, given all the facts. However, sometimes I still sit on the proverbial fence. This has nothing to do with me waiting to see which side will win...I can just see both sides' points.

27) And yes, I do talk like that.

28) If you haven't figured this out by now, to me, lists are a way of life.

29) I really hate to be rushed, although sometimes I need it.

30) I love to laugh. And not just giggling or chuckling--although I love to do that too. I mean, I love to laugh so hard that I think my lungs might burst. I much prefer it to crying.

31) I have a fanfiction pet peeve: people who don't pay attention to the "in progress" or "complete" statuses.

32) I am against -cest of any kind. This includes, but not limited to wincest, twincest, cousincest, etc. This does not include Negaduck/Gosalyn, because they are not blood related. With the exception being if it is addressed as wrong in the context of the story.

33) I write pairings that often do not appear in canon. But I fully understand this...that's why I write them.

34) I have another fanfiction pet peeve: flamers. Now, not constructive criticism, I like and appreciate that. I mean, the people who review to say something totally unhelpful like "you suck" or "this was boring." Not to say that I've been flamed a lot, thankfully. Actually, in the six wonderful years that I've been writing fanfiction, I've only been flamed five or six times. Out of my number of stories/chapters, that's not alot. Now, my problem with these people are two-fold: one, if they hate it so badly, why the hell did they even bother to read it? (this applies to those who reading a whole chapter fic to the end and then tell you how stupid or boring it is); and two, they're cowards. Every single flame I've ever had has been anonymous. If you're going to flame, at least strap on a pair. Don't flame me without a chance to defend myself. What babies. In those five or six flames, only one had the guts to sign in and flame, and for that, I applaud that person. And it wasn't even on a story on this profile.

Updates On Me

Feb. 8- My friend-Slinky_and_the_BloodyWands-have opened an account together under the name of QuillsandValium. We have a major crossover coming called The Concept of Good. It is a crossover between Castlevania, Vampire Hunter D, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Harry Potter. Don't worry, I think you can catch on with all of them even if you're not a fan of all of them. I'll update later to tell you where it will be posted. Until then, tootles!

August 29- I shall be writing on a combined fanfiction even more under the penname NJOW, which stands for "Never Jump Out a Window." Don't ask. Just read. It's based on our (Slinky_and_the_BloodyWands, Blitz_the_falling_blunder, Avian Swallow--formally Falconwing, and myself) Harry Potter RPG...it shall be called "World's Clash" It'll be a crossover between Harry Potter and many different things. Please read it! Oh, and thanks for all your patience and kind reviews. Those all really make my day! Thanks again!

August 31- World's Clashhas been posted! I ask that you please review to let me and my fellow RPGers know what you think. Please give it a few chapters, though. I know it will sound confusing at first, but I'm doing everything in my power in the chapters to come to make it less confusing. Thanks!

Jan. 1, 2009-- Another year, more fanfiction. Frankly, I'd like to pretend that my Xmas holiday didn't happen. Okay? Secondly, no, I didn't finish To Be History, but I did get over 1 and a half chapter (s) done. Aren't I special? Oh, and I found out that I had five, not six, of the story left. So, once I type up and post those two chapters, I'll be down to three and then I can finish it. Yay! Well, that's all for me.

Jan. 17-- I've changed to format of my Fanfiction List, see below. I've also mentioned a couple of fics that I don't plan to ever do. On the brighter side, I'm currently in the process of finishing To Be History...from there, I'm planning on adding a chapter or two to various other fics of mine, as well as starting a couple of new ones. Well, just keeping everyone caught up!

Jan. 26-- Well, I've been doing all right with my update times. Much better than in years past. And I've got plenty of updates planned to be released here soon. As a side note, the homepage link now sends you to a blog for the writing group I participate in called The Guild of the Fantastic Quill. Drop by and join, if you'd like!

Feb. 14-- Happy Valentine's Day to all! That being said, I'm doing rather well with my fanfiction writing. I plan to release a few more chapters today, and I've already started a new one-shot series that I've been meaning to do for a while now. It was originally going to be a chapter fic, but the ideas for it kept coming to me as one-shots. So I've combined the two. I've also been doing some writing challenges for the Guild. Well, I'm off to write more. Ta!

March 15-- Well, I've been hard at work on my writing, and, amazingly, I've also managed to keep my school work up to par as well. And get sleep. I wonder if time has magically been added to my days? Oh, well...on another note, I've updated my lists above, and my fanfiction list below.

March 20-- Well, it's that time again. I'm being banished into my internetless home for Spring Break. So, no updates until the 30th or a little later. Sorry! See you then!

April 8-- So I've been a busy little bee. I've updated and done a lot of one-shots. Also, I've added a new poll to the top of my profile. Thanks to all those who voted in the last one! Please review on this one, so I know which one of my older fics to be focusing on.

April 16-- Well, my busy beedom continues. However, it is now coupled with my academic affairs. I just finished the first draft of my History and Historical Reseach Paper, I have to write and do a powerpoint for my paper in Literary Criticism, I have to do a reading and prepare a handout for that reading in Oral Tradition...not to mention that I also have to do my finals. And that my best friend is graduating a semester before me, AKA this semester. So, yeah, somehow around all that, I've been updating. Granted, not all of my fanfiction, so it's not evident to everyone that I've been updating...but I promise...I have. Mostly I've been doing one-shots (in response to challenges made by the GFQ) and updating chapters of my vampire stories (Dhampire, Untested, Youth, etc.). But I've also been branching out to some of my older stuff, feeling sorry for it, and updating it. In fact, I direct your eyes waaaaayyyyy upward in this profile to my poll...this doesn't mean that I won't finish all on that list...it just determines the order in which I do so. So, please vote. On another note...when did people stop leaving reviews on this site? Now, not all sections are getting bad at this and some are the same as always...but...what's up with adding things to faves and not reviewing? Seriously? Let me know what you think or if I've made some horrible flob or something! This is happening a lot with my crossovers...and with Pardoning the Prince. And...where did all the Castlevania people go? I've updated Untested twice and only got two reviews, one for each chapter and both from the same person. Did something happen? Well, I do understand that people have lives...I mean, that's what gets in my way. Anyway, rant over. Sorry about this. Bye-bye!

May 10-- IMPORTANT!! Okay, so finals killed my writing time. But I did reach my goal of 100 fanfictions before Slinky_And_The_BloodyWands graduated. Go me! So, the reason I'm putting up this update is thus: For at least two weeks, I shall be banished into the land of No Internet AKA my house. I won't be posting, obviously. However, as soon as I start my job I should be able to post fairly regularly. So, until then!

June 17-- So, as my CV readers know, I've had internet access at work for a little while now. I've made the decision to try and finish up some of my fics that I have completely--or close to completely--outlined. Following that will be the winner of my poll here. And with that, I apologize...it got bumped down due to its lack of a solid outline...but it made the list. First story I wish to complete is Untested, followed by Baby Makes Three.
