Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, Shakespeare, and Crucible. "I don't mind eels, ~~~Ogden Nash I'm a petite eighteen-year-old brunette born and raised in New York who doesn't sleep nearly enough because her mind is always wired with the hundreds of things she needs to do in the limited hours of the day. I adore literature (tremendous fan of Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, George Orwell, Ayn Rand, Gregory Maguire, Shakespeare, Terry Goodkind, Margaret George, and L. M. Montgomery, to name a few), actually enjoy singing in falcetto, and play the piano and guitar (I'm trying to push my parents to let me take up clarinet, but then I'd probably have to use a Time-Turner or something to fit everything in, so it'll have to wait). Musical interests vary from opera, classical, vocalists, showtunes, and film scores to classic rock. Particular favorites are Josh Groban, John Williams, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michael Crawford, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Jekyll & Hyde, Scarlet Pimpernel, Hayley Westenra, Russell Watson, Mario Frangoulis, Andrea Bocelli, Pink Floyd, Celtic Woman, Amici Forever, Pavarotti, Carmina Burana, Simon and Garfunkel, Beethoven, Shalsheles, Jethro Tull, and Tangerine Dream. Erm, that's all I can think of for now. Trust me; the list is longer. I also possess an annoying compulsiveness that borders on perfectionism when it comes to schoolwork. That together with about seven extra-curricular activities pretty much leaves me wiped. But yet another little irritating quirk of mine is a masochistic need to squeeze in as much action into one day as possible or risk having my mind spin around in idle circles. So I have very little time for writing. Updates are generally sparse, although when they come, they generally come in around 10,000 words at a clip. And speaking of fanfiction, here are my current works: "Music of the Night" "Conflict" - I was in a sonnet-writing mood. And no, this was not an assignment for class. "Sonnet of the Sea" - Er...Another sonnet, also not for class. Something of a companion piece to MotN. Kind of. "The Paradigm of Evil" - one of my first poetic works. An odd sort of metaphor, comparing the Pied Piper to totalitarianism. An accompanying piece of MotN. "The Sock" - a oneshot, originally intended as a companion story to Music of the Night until I decided it was better off standing on its own. JKR and I have something in common; we both put a great deal of emphasis on socks. And in this story, James has a hole in his, and it's annoying him to no end.Thank you so much to everyone who's reviewed and put me on their favorites' list. You guys really make my day! Happy reading! | |||||
