Favorite Quotes:

"Adults react to teenagers as they do to dogs-you know, two are cute, five are scary and twenty a riot. Everything they do is criminalised. Yet it's the age when people are most creative, instead of just sucking in facts. " -Scott Westerfeld

"How is education suppose to make me feel smarter? Besides, everytime I learn something new it pushes something old out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive? " -Homer from the Simpsons

" Me? I'm dishonest. And you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly. Its the honest ones you want to watch out for, you never now when they are going to do something incredibily...stupid."- Captain Jack Sparrow The Curse of the Black Pearl

"Proud?" said Harry "All those times I could've died and I didn't manage it? They'd be furious."-Harry Potter

"She's safe, just like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington, just like she promised. And you get to die for her, just like you promised. So we're all really men of our word really...except for Elizabeth, who is in fact, a woman."-Captain Jack Sparrow Curse of the Black Pearl

"Oh brilliant. I must write that one down in my witty retorts book."- Mulch The Lost Colony

"You seem somewhat familar. Have I threatened you before?" -Captain Jack Sparrow Curse of the Black Pearl

"You don't like your job, you don't strike. You go in every day and do it really half-assed. Thats the American way."-Homer from the Simpsons

"I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T!" -Homer The Simpsons

"Believe me, he is not here. If he were here there would be a lot more screaming."-Artemis The Lost Colony

"God does not play dice with the universe. He plays an ineffable game of His own divising, which might compared, from the perspective of any other players(i.e. eveybody) to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker, in a pitch dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time."-Good Omens

"Go on, prove me wrong. Destroy the fabric of the universe. See if I care." - Terry Pratchett

"People don't alter history anymore than birds alter the sky, they just make brief patterns on it." -Mort by Terry Pratchett

"I'm right there with you, darlin'. Unless you step on a landmine, in which case I'm way back in the Operations Room."- Foaly, Artemis Fowl

"Age and wisdom don't necessarily go together. Some people just become stupid with more authority." -Terry Pratchett

"Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying "End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH," the paint wouldn't even have time to dry." -Terry Pratchett

"You had to hand it to human beings. They had one of the strangest powers in the universe. No other species anywhere in the world had invented boredom. Perhaps it was boredom, not intelligence, that had propelled them up the evolutionary ladder. Trolls and dwarfs had it, too, that strange ability to look at the universe and think 'oh, the same as yesterday, how dull. I wonder what happens if I bang this rock on that head?"-Terry Pratchett

"My doctor says that I have a malformed public-duty gland and a natural defiency in moral fiber, and I am therefore excused from saving universes."- Ford from Life, The Universe, and Everything

"I like hearing myself talk. It is one of my greatest pleasures. I often have long conversations all by myself, and I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying." -Oscar Wilde

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation." -Oscar Wilde

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde

" There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written." -Oscar WIlde
