Author has written 18 stories for Charles Dickens, Little Mermaid, Sherlock Holmes, Fairy Tales, and Pride and Prejudice.

I am a teenage, Christian homeschooler who loves to write novels and poetry. I love the Lord, my family, and good literature, in that order. Enough said about my background.

You might call me a reluctant fanfiction writers. I once told myself that I would never do something like this, but I guess I just sort of fell into it. If fanfiction was banned, I would mourn, but other than that I'd just sit in my corner and work some more on my 'honest' writing.

So why did I start writing fanfiction? Well, I read A Tale of Two Cities and fell absolutely in love with it, but I sensed a missing scene in the fabric of the story, so before fully obtaining permission from the other half of myself, I brought The Absence into existence. Sydney Carton is one of my all-time favorite characters, and since then I have been attempting to find a way to create an original character similar to him without completely lifting his nature. (Personally, how successful do you think an attempt at unoriginal originality is going to be? Ah, well, one can hope...) Thank you Dickens for giving us such a wonderful insight into humanity in the character of Sydney. I firmly believe that the ending was the best part of the book.

Since then, I have become a decidedly obsessed Sherlockian. If you asked me why, I would be rather hard-pressed to pin down the reason. I think the twofold reason is that I love the amazing in-depth character that Holmes is, and I also love his and Watson's friendship. Since they first came into my brain in July 2009, they have refused to leave, no matter how many times I've tried to take a vacation from them. As my dear friend Heather put it, great characters never die. They just hunt for a young writer with a style similar to that of their original author and HAUNT him.

Notes on my multi-chaptered, unfinished works:

The Fate of the Needle: This drabble series is unintentionally on hold, not because I do not want to finish it, but I am having a hard time deciding what happens next. You must know that it pains me to make such an admission. ("You, the author, now know where the story is going? How dare you!") How dare I? Well... I don't know. Actually I don't dare. I'm running and hiding, all the while scrambling frantically for an idea. ;)

Anyhow, enjoy! I love constructive criticism because it helps me grow as a writer in all areas, so if you have any for me I will welcome it!
