Author has written 11 stories for Harry Potter. 3/1/08 Posting to "Somewhere Only We Know" should continue at a fairly steady rate in spite of Real Life getting a bit hectic. That's one of my resolutions for 2008. Another resolution is to actually respond to the feedback I get, so please review and I will respond as soon as I can! Scroll down for individual story updates. Also, there is a catch-all post on my LJ to discuss my stories, ask questions, etc. All my stories feature an original character, Cassius Malfoy, who I created because, although Remus and Sirius are a lovely couple, I wanted Remus to be happy after OOTP so my muse spoke. I adore Cassius - if only I could make him real...and straight...and single. To clear up the family connections in MY universe: Malfoys are twice related to the Blacks through marriage. Sirius's mother was a Malfoy, unlike in JK Rowling's world. Therefore, Cassius and Lucius are MATERNAL cousins of Sirius. Narcissa Black is a PATERNAL cousin of Sirius's. Therefore, Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black are second cousins through marriage and do NOT share any blood relations. I hope that clears up any squick factor. Story Updates: "Final Year": After the chapter I posted 4/8/07, this story is VERY close to being finished. I just have to write the party after the Trio and Draco leave Hogwarts and then I'm done. So, just one chapter left. My goal is to get this chapter finished very soon! "Yet To Be Titled" (Not Yet Posted): This story is the short sequel (2-3 chapters) to Collide where Corbin and Jack have a child. Beware, yes, there will be MPREG! Sorry! (blushes) I have about 13 pages in Word already written and my goal is to finish and post the sequel very soon, although at this rate it won't be until the Summer. "What Might Have Been": I did decide to skip until the third task and now I have to figure out the rest of the plot - I might make it match with books five through seven but we will see. I feel like I'm in a bit of a pickle with this one. Help! "Somewhere Only We Know": A WIP story where Corbin Hill did not break up with Cassius and together they raise Harry from the age of three after rescuing him from the Dursleys. Will feature Remus and Sirius being reunited after Sirius's escape from Azkaban and will NOT be faithful to the event in OOTP (yes, you know what event I mean.) Currently, this story is my obsession. I've got LOTS of pages written - cough- 126 -cough- but so far no real plot. Owen Jones has resurrected himself from the ashes and is currently changing into quite the baddie (bonus points for anyone who actually knows/remembers who he is) so I'm thinking maybe a plot will come out of that. "Changes" (Not Yet Posted): A newly titled WIP story about Harry and will include a slash pairing with an original character, Jeremiah McGonagall ,who is a metamorphmagus like Tonks. Everyone see how clever the title is? It's a song title, Jeremiah can change, Harry changes from straight to gay. See? Changes! I impress myself. It starts three years after Harry graduates from Hogwarts as he begins his career as an auror. I've got the first chapter almost done but I don't want to start posting until "Final Year" is finished. I have seven chapters sketched out and they just need to be polished up. "When the Stars Go Blue" (Not Yet Posted): Another WIP slash story featuring Harry as an auror only he will be paired with a werewolf (another original character). This story is in the beginning stages - meaning I have a few sex scenes written and now I actually have to create a plot. Any ideas? Actually, I'm thinking it might be the old standard: Boy meets Boy, Boy loses Boy, Boy gets Boy. Yeah...okay, now that's settled I just have to write it. | |||||||||
