Author has written 29 stories for Sweet Valley High /Twins, Inuyasha, Detective School Q, New Jedi Order, Ultra Maniac, Harry Potter, Hungry Heart, Witch Hunter Robin, Ranma, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Supernatural, and Ouran High School Host Club. Hi. I've noticed that my bio of the past one year was rather rudely abrupt ("See you whenever"? Tut, tut -- where DID my manners go?), so here I am, to make amends, with what is probably a better one. I'm 18 years old, female, a citizen of India, and a 1st year medical student. My zodiac sign happens to be Leo, just so that you know. Any other personal info? Well, I love my cricket. The game's my second biggest passion in life, after writing. I've been part of this site for nearly four years now, and writing fanfiction for longer than that, and so while some of my earlier fanfics (please forgive me! I was naught but an innocent fourteen year old!) make me squirm, I can also take pride in how much my writing's improved over the past few years. It's probably the only reason I haven't deleted (all of) the Fics of '05, and hopefully the upward graph will continue, and I can finally write something worthwhile, and something that I can truly be proud of. For now, my writing is still a 'work in progress'. My interests jump from one fandom to another in a matter of weeks, so multi-chaptered stories in a single fandom can take a long time to be completed, or can be abandoned altogether. My apologies to the wonderful people who actually follow them, but I'll try my best to complete all the stories that I've started. (While I'm on the subject, I've almost completely veered off anime as of now, so A Higher Realm may, realistically, never face completion. Seemingly Insignificant, however, has a brighter future.) I like to write angsty stories of a hurt/comfort theme, but I'm favouring humour quite a lot these days. I've been told that I write humour (relatively) well, too, and that made my head swell. Quite a lot, actually. I love reading adventure and mystery stories the most, though, and hopefully one day, I'll be mature and experienced enough to write a good adventure story with a semblance of a carefully structured and reasearched plot. For now, however, my efforts will mostly aim at character exploration. None of my stories are beta'd -- I do all the proof-reading and editing myself. Having a beta is not feasible for me, due to the frequency (or lack of) of my logging on to the 'net. Regular online correspondence with anyone other than far-flung family is very difficult. English is not my mother tongue, or technically my first language, so anybody willing to point out my numerous mistakes will be much appreciated. Also I use UK spelling. That's how we are taught to spell down here where I live, and so all the 's's instead of the 'z's and the profusion of 'u's does not mean I'm a (completely) hopeless speller. For those who've bothered to go through this, thank you for indulging in my... well, self-indulgence (did I ever mention my lack of good vocabulary?), and I hope you will read and enjoy my efforts at fanfiction.
