UPDATE AS OF 1/18/2010

Hey there everyone. Just so you know, I have been away from fanfiction for about a year (maybe even almost two :) but I am currently working on the next chapter of Back From the Past. I hope to post it soon, but don't get your hopes up. I have maybe a page done. Just getting back into the swing of writing fanfiction has been a little harder because I had to reread the whole thing, which made me go, "E GADS WHAT IS THIS MESS" so I cleaned it up a bit. Just grammar and such. I don't know if I'll repost the first fourteen chapters yet, but for now I did it for me. Because I was feeling OCD. But yeah, so that cut down my writing time...and now I'm rambling and this update isn't as productive as is was meant to be, simply because I'm not a very productive person. However, I am now 16. That's exciting as hell.

Anyway, back on topic. I'm staring off slow with getting back into fanfiction. In the future I might take another look at something like When You're Dead or that one story I wrote just because I came up with a creative way to make the title a dirty word. That was fun.

So, expect the next chapter soon enough. So sorry for those of you who have been waiting a really long time for more. I feel your pain. I hate it when authors do that, but lately I've been pretty focused on my career as an actress (how cliched does that sound? but really, that is my career. I made my first 5 dollars, like, a week ago.) so I haven't even thought about writing. Thank you, rainy day! I'll try to finish up Back From The Past, then work on the others. See ya in the reviews!

So I'm a giant liar and I haven't really worked on fan fiction at all this year. However, I have been reading some Glee fan fiction, and that's been motivating me a bit. So that's fun.

UPDATE AS OF 6/23/2011

While eagerly awaiting the arrival of Pottermore, I decided to check up on my fanfiction, and found I already had half a chapter of Staircase written, so I said, "Screw it! I'll just finish it up!" So that's that. It is summer now, so the chances of some updates are increased a little, but I wouldn't expect anything. I don't expect anything of myself, and look how well that's turning out! I'm exceeding expectations by merely turning on a computer!

However, I think if I did really get back into it, I would be mainly focusing on Staircase, because it's actually interesting me a lot more than anything else I started and then abandoned in 8th grade. Have fun with that!
