Author has written 5 stories for Sailor Moon, and Skip Beat!. Hi all! RS here! I UPDATE SPORADICALLY. Like, really sporadically. Mainly 'cause I'm constantly jumping twenty fandoms, or pairings, or series, or ideas at any one time. Sorry about that. But I always come back, even if it takes... an indefinite amount of time to do it. I am currently not accepting beta requests. (one-shots may be acceptable. please see my beta profile) I currently read Sailor Moon and Harry Potter fics, the latter by the truckloads (I'm catching up for all those years I HAVEN"T been reading, see?). I have also been told that my pen name is now very memorable as people keep seeing me everywhere, on road signs and such. If you see me, "Railway Station," anywhere- snap and send me a pic! XD Thanks Em-chan for giving me this idea (by sending me an awesome pic of a "Railway Station" sign in Australia!!)!!! WHY THE NAME (RAILWAY STATION)? The pen name "Railway Station" came about because I was sick of growing out of names like "Shimmering Angel" or "Dreaming Angels, Inc" (once-upon-a-time joint name for me and my friends) and god knows what else I came up with -and may otherwise STILL come up with- in my teenagey years. Actually, I remember at the time, a NaNo-friend was telling me how his novel (a beautifully written story I did read) originated from an image/vision of a girl in a train station. I don't recall his exact words, but this image has stayed with me since. And then I also started listening to what remains my favourite music/musician ever- A Fine Frenzy. Alison Sudol, the singer, talked about how she considers herself the 'spokesperson' for the music, "A Fine Frenzy," rather than 'label' the music with her name (like the music belonged 'solely' to her). The idea of a railway station has always fascinated me, because it is very much a in-between place (Sort of like how JK Rowling described it in HP7), and it's also a setting that has so much potential because various people (and stories) 'coincidentally' gather and never really know each other's reasons for being there. And that's what this very page has become for me... a "place" for stories. So I guess you could say "Railway Station" is more like the place for my stories rather than a name for me. So while I don't mind being called 'Railway Station', at the same time, I don't actually think of it as my name... It's more like a special place, or page, or writing-space, or something like that, where my stories gather. But you can still call me Railway Station, or R-chan, or RS-chan, or whatever you want. (Those of you who read previous versions of this profile also know what "RS" also refers to, to me- when I am writing as myself, or being addressed, I think of "RS" as simply standing for the (fictitious) name 'Rina Stell'.)
