Why I love to write: I love to write fanfics. It gives me a chance to put into words what I can't do with art. It's a good feeling to write something and feel a connection to the characters, feel like they're your friends, or maybe even someone you know/knew. But what I most love about about writing is letting people see what I've written. Maybe I'll inspire, maybe I won't- but I still hope that people just enjoy my writing for what it is and find something in it that appeals to them. That is why I write- to spread imagination and joy.

Fanfics:

Two Tailed Angel: A Naruto OC fanfic that follows (well, tries to follow) the Naruto storyline. This fic is now under a rewrite.

Had I Never Lived: The rewrite for Two Tailed Angel. A mostly OC-centric story, but will involve canon characters as time progresses.

Extra:

Sometimes I'll draw some character art, because I like to get a feel for what the character looks like first so then it's easier to imagine them in my head. It also helps with describing clothes.

Fallen from Grace: A Naruto AU set in a modernist city with different yakuza factions.

I mean to write this more of an experiment than an actual fic. It started a while ago, but since the 'Team Hebi' arcs in the manga, it's been giving me a little inspiration. It's been progressing quite well so far, and I'm surprised at how the canon actually translates so easily.

Singing in the Sunshine: A fic based off an idea from a friend of mine, Hinata unexpectedly is pushed into the world of an idol.

While on a mission, Team 8 needs a distraction in a night club to catch a crook. Hinata is put on the spot and finds herself on stage singing disguised in a henge. The plan works, but maybe it went a little too well... now Hinata is torn between two worlds - shall she choose the path of a singing sensation, or continue on her path as a shinobi? The decision only get worse when she discovers a certain blond has become head over heels for 'Idol Hinaru'.

One at a Time: A series of one-shots concerning the characters of Naruto.

Sometimes I like to write a couple short fics as practice, since I feel I can be more creative in them. Anyway, it's a collection of various things, and contains a couple pairing fics and stuff I don't normally do.

AppearDisappear: A one-shot fic for a Heroes OC.

I'm not actually super-into Heroes, but it's a fandom that really interests me in its simplicity and gritty realism. It's so similar, but so different to many other fandoms of the same genre. I decided to take a crack at an OC story since, and it's a tiny bit ironic, that there that many fics set in different countries. I decided to give Australia a bit of a scene for once amid the chaos of New York and Vegas-centered fics, and try and create a character with a simple-seeming power.

Brittle: An OC-centric Claymore fic.

Claymore has really become a recent love of mine after having to watch it at anime club. I was quite surprised at how it changed from being a "hack'n'slash" adventure with pretty girls to a meaningfully deep plot that really tugs on the heartstrings. I've started to read the manga now - I'm even more in love. It's a real challenge for writing fanfiction for it too! I'm going to try my best then!
