I believe the requirements are to be Japanese/an ass-kicking artist/mad genius, none of which applies to me. I write this stuff for the hell of it, not to make money.

Other stuff: I'm definitely on the insane side of "weird," but that's okay. Creativity requires some degree of mental instability in addition to complex, academic thinking. Adding to my insanity, I'm a crazy cat lady -- I share living space with four cats, and only one is actually mine. Oh, and I was born on Valentine's Day. Yeah. Sucky day for a birthday.

I've been writing fanfiction since I was in my early teens, when I stumbled across a Gundam Wing fanfiction archive. Since then, I have branched into other fandoms and focused on various aspects of my writing. Every story I write, be it a oneshot or a multichapter, is a learning experience, and I try to learn from each of my past efforts so that the next story I write is an improvement over the last. I like writing multichapters that require loads of thought (so slow down when you read, and maybe read it out loud) and oneshots that don't require much thought at all. One's a challenge, and the other's a reprieve, so it works nicely.

Through it all, I am at the complete and utter mercy of Aodh, my muse. He and I usually get along, but we sometimes butt heads over certain things - such as which stories on my "Coming Soon" list will be written next. Normally, we prefer to work on one multichapter at a time, with various oneshots popping up as side-projects. This may or may not change one of these days. It all depends on how badly we want to work on our next multichapter project while we're in the middle of a current project.

Christ's sakes alive...I haven't updated in a month, much less posted anything fic-related in damn near two months. I'm both exceptionally lazy and exceptionally busy.

Just to let you know what's happened since my last login...I started school, had a crapton of continued financial aid issues, had camera issues, went to RenFest with Regent Shaw, had more camera issues, and then BOOM, midterms. I just had my last midterm today. THANK GOD. I still think I'm screwed for the quarter, as in DOOMED. Dear God.

Themes 07-10 of Soul Resonance have just been posted, so enjoy! Theme 11 might be a while coming, but I'll get it up soon.

NaNoWriMo starts this coming Sunday. I'm going to do it, but I'm not committing myself to it. Obviously, I've got a ton of other stuff to worry about, but I'm still going to give it a go, yep.
