I'm a fan of Harry Potter (although, DH sucked big time) and love the fan fiction. I am apparently a Slytherin, which came as a little bit of a surprise (I was sure I'd be a Hufflepuff, to be honest) and my Animagus would be a cat or a dolphin (although I can forsee some problems with a dolphin as an animagus form so I'll stick with the cat). I live with my hubby, who can't understand my HP or Remus obsession, and my two girls who "for the last time, DO NOT want to read Harry Potter, mum!" and my cat, Sunny (the most tolerant cat in the history of the planet). I enjoy reading - not usually fantasy but HP sucked me in. I love James Patterson, Dan Brown, Ed McBain, Mary Higgins Clark and Jonathan Kellerman - seeing a pattern of murder mysteries here? I also love trashy romance novels - the more graphic, the better! I started writing for my amusement when I quit my job and a friend, Misundersnape (who has a marvellous Severus fic called "Second Chances" on this site), inspired me to post some of my drabble. What started as a hobby is now an obsession, even overtaking my habitual three times daily consumption of diet coke and chocolate and I frustrate everyone I know by taking my laptop EVERYWHERE! I love Remus (and David Thewlis (drool) as Remus) and Sirius and the Marauder era (did anyone else NOT care what happened to Harry in DH as long as Remus was okay?) although James/Lily usually bore me. I love the Remus/Sirius ship - don't hate me! - and think there is enough subtext to support it (and they are HELL HOT together!). I write Remus/OFC as well because I really don't like Remus/Tonks pairing (BOO, HISS from the Remus/Tonks shippers) and there are no other female characters I see him realistically with. And sometimes I like a little het! I love some of the other pairings too - particularly Albus Severus/Scorpius (they are meant to be with that combination of initials), Harry/Draco (on occasion), Remus/Severus or Bill or Charlie or James. I'm not particularly fussy if there's a naked werewolf and hot boylove to be had. :) I don't absolutely dislike any pairings: with the exception of Remus and Tonks - the worst ship EVER! And my mind is very open when it comes to more than two fictional characters in a bed (see some of my fics to see exactly how comfortable I am with that!) When I do post, I love reviews - constructive criticism or just telling me how wonderful my story is (cheesy grin!) I always review when I like what I read as I know how much time and effort went into writing the story. Flames will be read, laughed at then a witty and cutting reply posted so you can be scorned by all. I will then forget all about you. So why bother? I've just signed on at Livejournal.
