Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter.

Name: Renny

Favorite Movies: The Last Unicorn, Labyrinth, Sense and Sensibility, all Harry Potter movies (though Prisoner of Azkaban pissed me off...), Merlin (mini with Sam Neil), The Phantom of the Opera (mini with Charles Dance, NOT the ALW one!), FFVII: Advent Children, Battle Royale & other JHorror, pretty much anything else with Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons in it (heart!). I'm also an ADDICT of Japanese drama shows, or dorama, my favorites being Great Teacher Onizuka, Hana Yori Dango, and Nobuta wo Produce ("Akira SHOCK!")

Other interests: Electric guitar, video games (rpgs mostly), sewing (cosplay and Renaissance Faires!), knitting, anime, manga, Japanese culture, sociology, abnormal psych, the Green movement, equal and human rights for ALL.

My blurb: So far I've only completed one novel-length fan fiction, The Dream of One Night [M], and it took me about four years of on-and-off writing to complete. It really is my literary baby (and was my therapy that got me through two of my husband's deployments to Iraq), and I spent who knows how long making it as (pre-Half Blood Prince) canon-compliant as I possibly could. It's set in The Chamber of Secrets year and is written for fans like myself who maybe got into Harry Potter as an adult and have more of an interest in the lives of the adults in the series, especially the professors of Hogwarts. I really hope you read it and give it a chance. If you enjoy what you read, please leave me a quick review to let me know. Since I can never make money off of this story, a simply word of thanks means so incredibly much to me.

Though I swore I wouldn't do this, I'm working on a sequel to The Dream of One Night, and the first few chapters are currently up for reading, reviewing, and constructive critiquing. Please be patient with the slow pace of updates since I currently have a toddler, so I barely have time to eat, let alone write! But I've had lots of people request a sequel, and I've been toying with scenes in my mind for years now, so I couldn't resist. It's titled Nothing Else Matters [M] and is set primarily in the Order of the Phoenix year. Thank you so much for checking out my profile. I hope you enjoy my writing!
