I'm twenty one, female, and an aspiring writer. Currently, I'm writing for the Harry Potter fandom. You're probably here because I either reviewed your work, you visit my forums or read my own stories. I'll start off with the way I review:

I'm rambly. I know. I tend to review as I read, so I usually go through the details first, and then give you my view of the whole chapter. I'm not afraid to point out things that I feel are wrong, but at the same time I'm not shy to tell you what I liked. I realise I may come across as nitpicky or harsh sometimes, but that's just me. Do bear in mind my reviews are merely my opinion - it's up to you to decide how much merit they have. (Grammar and punctuation rules, on the other hand...follow them!)

FORUMS:
Writers Anonymous:
Basically for all writers to come and talk about writing or discuss any problems they have. It also includes recommendation and self-plug topics. We have friendly mods and people, and we're organised! It is required to read the pinned rules before posting (they aren't long). As of July, the forum has more than 21,000 posts, so get in there!

The Backyard:
This one recommends all the great Harry Potter fanfic I've found on sites other than ff.net. Includes recommendations from FictionAlley and Fanlib. A bit out of date at the moment, seeing as Fanlib is no more and a few of the stories recommended no longer exist.

Current Work-in-Progress:
'Magical Mayhem: Humble Beginnings' chronicles the start of the Weasley twins' adventures as they start at Hogwarts. Progress on this is slow, and I apologise for the lack in updates. I try to write when I have the time - unfortunately, I have very little at the moment.

Temporary/undetermined hiatus:
'Broken Pieces' is a post-HBP, post-war fic starring Draco, Tonks and a bit of Harry, Hermione and the Weasleys. Written before Deathly Hallows. Has currently taken a backseat in favour of 'Magical Mayhem', sorry!

Major plot bunnies/upcoming:
1. 'Magical Mayhem' series, chronicling the Weasley twins' years at Hogwarts and beyond.
2. 'Facades of Espionage', a chaptered fic involving the Malfoys and a secret so old no one would believe the truth if it was told now. It's an old premise of mine that I think I can make work now. AU.

28 March 2008, working on Magical Mayhem:
All seven Potter books have been scoured and the prologue is done. Now it's just tidying up my yearly plans for the twins and writing! Let's hope uni doesn't take too much time away.

19 August 2008, still working on Magical Mayhem:
If anyone is anticipating this story before I've posted it up, well, here's an update. The prologue is ready to go and I'm in the middle of chapter 1. Um, patience, grasshopper? I know I'm really bad at writing consistently, but my midyear resolution is to write a few pages at least once a week. And get someone to make sure I do that. Eep.

Chapter One has been betaed, and I now just need to find the time to edit, send back to beta and then, hopefully post.

14 July 2009, Magical Mayhem:
Sigh. So second year of uni was a lot more hectic than I thought it would be. Am now on holidays but interning, so will write when I can. Resolution is to post chapter 2 by the end of August, or the end of July if I really get on with it.
