I'm a 23 year old Marine wife and a mommy to two little boys. I have a 2 year old (Yoda) and a 5 month old (Bumbo). I love to read and write, though writing has been on the back burner for about three years now. I also enjoy sewing. My newest obsession is Twilight. I'm Team Edward all the way! But I highly doubt you'll find me writing anything for Twilight, with the possible, maybe one-shot. I live in SoCal and love, love, love it. I'm originally from Chicagoland and miss it dearly, though I'll never move back there. After living in SoCal I just can't handle the winters anymore. (Plus, the proximity to my monster-in-law isn't exactly enticing...) I've been reading loads and loads of Twilight fics, but I'm actually pretty much over the Twilight thing now. Still, I enjoy Edward & Bella fics. I do not ever read Bella & Jacob or Edward & anyone except Bella. I'm loving Harry Potter fics at the moment. But it's all about Ginny for me. Except I'm not into Ginny & Remus fics. But pretty much everything else I'm open to. I especially love Ginny & Draco and Ginny & Sirius fics. And anything where she goes back in time. Anyway, I love to write. Truly, I do. I just have so little time to think these days, let alone actually write something! My hubby deploys frequently, and when he's home I tend to spend most of my time with him and our boys. However, I do someday hope to finish the GG fics I've started, and work on a few short ones as well. Here are some sneak peaks: The Weekend Wishes Series: Rogan. But it's NOT a romance. It's angsty. Not horribly so, but it won't be wrapped up in a pretty little bow. If you're someone who needs Rogan to ride off into the sunset before the words "The End" appear, this is not the story for you. The Weekend Wishes Series: Not every fairytale has a happily ever after. Sometime's your prince is just a frog. This is what happens when your beautiful dream is shot to hell and all you're left with is a pumpkin. This is probably a two-shot. One from Rory's POV, one from Logan's POV. Once again, they will NOT be together romantically in this. Only A Lifetime (tentative title): This fic has freaking haunted me for probably four YEARS now. I think I originally outlined it as 7 parts. It will not. stop. haunting. me! And if I can ever get more than 300 words into the first part, I'll actually finish it. It's one of those I know exactly what I want to have happen, but no clue how to get from A to B, even though I can get from B to all the other letters. OAL is where each part is from a different time in Trory's life. And that's all the info you'll be getting about it. It's a fic I feel very passionatly about, but I don't want to give anything away yet. And I will most likely complete the whole thing before posting it. Then I'll probably release one chapter a week until it's all posted. I don't want to be unfair and get you all hooked on a new fic that will never be completed. My WIP's updates/info: Honestly, looking at some of my earlier fics I cringe and want to gouge my eyes out while reading them. IF- HUGE IF!- I ever get around to writing again, I want to re-write the Trogan spring break fic of mine (what the heck is the title of it?? I can't remember right now!). My two favorite WIP's of mine are Saga and Conniving Trollops. If I ever do work on my WIP's, those will probably be the two to be worked on. I know they're not nearly as well-loved or popular as the others, but as a writer those are the two I feel best about. They're the two I enjoy writing. They're my literary babies. Frankly, there are tons of fics like Solutions and BBB out there. Tons. They're cliched. Nothing special. But Saga and Trollops are both fresh, original and I have so much more of my own voice in them. I love them. More than that, they're two of the few fics of mine I'm able to say I'm proud of. What fics of mine do I enjoy reading? As far as one-shots go, my favorite is probably A Grandfather's Love. I love Richard. And I love his perspective in it. If you're a Saga fan then MDM is a fun read. I crack up reading that. When it comes to longer fics that I've wrote, the only two I enjoy reading are Saga and Conniving Trollops. I hate every single other fic of mine that isn't a one-shot. Every. Single. One. What fics of other people's do I enjoy? Check out my fav's list. There are a lot on there. It's been a while since I've read my GG's, but for Twilight...
