You may have noticed that I deleted a story you liked. I'm very sorry if that was the case. The fact is, I've had this account since I was thirteen or so, and some of the fics I wrote were terribly, terribly bad - to the point where I don't even want to be associated with them. Some of the stories are only moderately bad, but are unfinished and are never going to be finished. So: I am doing a little spring cleaning. Fics which are awful but a little cute in their awfulness will stay (think "Pepper's Story" or "Benny"), but the really pointless ones (think "A Few Last Thoughts" and "Gabriel") as well as the boring and endless chaptered fics ("Last Rose of Summer" and "Fleur Delacour ..." - what was I thinking?) are going away forever. However, I am saving html files of the stories and the reviews of the deleted fics because I can't bear to throw things away - if you really did like them, for whatever reasons, send me a message and I can send you the files.
... So. Here I am, rather older and at least slightly wiser than I was when I started this account - I must be, just for taking down those stories. As you can see, I'm mainly into Harry Potter and various Diana Wynne Jones books, especially Howl's Moving Castle. What I like best in fanfiction is humor, and after that, I have to admit, some kind of romance, whether it's depressing and angsty or light and cute (but not too cute) - so you may guess that my favorite ships in my fandoms are Remus/Tonks and Howl/Sophie.
What don't I like? Well, people who take things too seriously (such as those who get all het up about flames or negative reviews) and people who don't take things seriously enough (such as those who insist it's okay to write atrociously because "this isn't for school"). Misogyny. Ship or character bashing. I'm also not a big fan of "humor" fics that are overstrained and not funny.
