My name is Tanya. I'm a twenty-one year old music student, photographer, writer, creator, artist, etc etc.

I should warn you: my fanfiction mostly contains OC's. Why? Because I feel pressured when I write about popular canon characters. The only one who can truly write the character is the author themselves - though I've read some people's work that comes pretty damn close. With OC's I can be more lenient in regards to creativity - though I am very strict in regards to characterization. All my OC's go through the Mary Sue Litmus Test twice to make sure they're rid of all author's ego. _~

I am also here to help people out. If I think a story's worth reviewing I'll give some constructive criticism. If you're too sensitive and can't take it, well, I suggest you close your account - if you think I'm being harsh, wait until you encounter Flame Rising. :)

Fanfics I Will Read

1. Those with original plots. It ain't that hard to come up with something original - and no, this does not include reworkings of a canon plot from another person's perspective.

2. Well-written fanfics about obscure canon characters.

3. Well-developed OC fics. As long as the story doesn't mold around your OC and as long as I'm not rolling my eyes at every chapter and going, "Give me a break!" chances are I will like it.

4. Non-explicit romance. Spell it out: s-u-b-t-l-e.

5. Canon. I am not a freak about it, but there are certain things I want to stay that way.

6. Well-done satire and parodies.

7. Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Draco/Pansy, Snape/Lily (one sided), Grindeldore (one sided), Jake/Cassie, Rachel/Tobias, Gokuu/Chi Chi, Bejita/Buruma.

Fanfics I Will Not Read (with a few exceptions)

1. OOC canon characters. Snape doesn't love Hermione, or Ginny (or you). Sirius is not the next Hugh Hefner. Lucius Malfoy isn't a wifebeater. Ax isn't in love with your stupid Mary Sue. Cassie isn't a psycho. Harry loves Ginny and no-one else. Yamcha isn't a drunk. And VEGETA DOES NOT LOVE GOKU! Stop butchering my favourite characters, you idiots.

2. Complete self-inserts and friend-inserts. Sorry, but fanfiction isn't about your wet-dream fantasies.

3. Mary Sue/Gary Stu-fics. Sues are stupid and annoying, full stop. Including extreme 'anti-Sues'. It's really not that difficult to come up with a good character, but some people would rather be lazy.

4. Bad spelling/grammar. One or two typos is acceptable, 'OMG WTF LOL SADE MRY. I RN 2' etc is not. Exception for satire.

5. Overused concepts/plots. I can make an exception for very well written stories.

6. Slash when the character isn't gay. The ONLY exception for this is 'Two Months Of Insanity' by Killed-Ideal. No other slash fic will I read. Ever. No exceptions.

7. Unoriginal OC continuities. I'm tired of reading these stupid Harry's twin sister/brother, Gohan's twin, Goten's twin, etc. If you're going to put an OC into a family (for example, a Vegeta or Goku's child fic) then give them their own continuity! Sticking them in as a twin makes it very boring.

8. I will never read Marco/anyone (can make an exception if very good), Marco/Ax, Rachel/David, Ax/anyone (will make exception if good), Dumbledore/McGonagall, Harry/Hermione, Harry/Luna, Draco/anyone, Hermione/anyone, Goku/anyone, Vegeta/anyone, Trunks/Pan (I particularly hate this one...you're basically implying that Trunks is a paedophile. Way to go), Goten/Bra (see T/P).

Of course, as said, I will always make exceptions when the fic is VERY well-written. However, well written fics on this site are gems indeed - sadly, you don't need an IQ test result to join, which means there's a significant amount of retards who can't spell on this site.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but by now you should have realised - it's only the Internet, kiddies. ;)

Star Wars: Knights Of the Old Republic (Untitled)

Please Note:

I always ask for constructive criticism on my fanfics, and no, I don't get upset when someone doesn't like my writing (liek,plz. as if u wouldent lyk my storie!!). However, there is a difference between constructive criticism and flaming. Telling me that I can improve a certain part is constructive; telling me my story is a 'piece of crap' is flaming.

I could go on and on about how pointless flaming me is, but all I have to say really is that you won't find any retaliation here. So my advice is to click the back button and go bother somebody who will give you the ultimate satisfaction - a review reply filled with "omg u cnut u dun lyk mah storie but evry1 elze does!!)

Now that I think of it, if I've given you some constructive criticism, and you're getting all ready to reply, all fired up and indignant that somebody doesn't like your fic (how dare they!) - I suggest you don't bother. Being all pissy and self-righteous when I take my time to give you a good critique just makes me laugh. Grow up and realise that no-one cares about your Mary Sue fuck-fantasies.

Ninety-five percent of the kids out there are unconcerned by the dismal state of their education, or the fact that their fanfiction is raping the English language. If you're part of the five percent of fanfiction writers/readers who do care about such things, cut and paste this, and then leave reviews for those poor souls who know not what they do.
