Author has written 10 stories for Twilight.

For random comments about my life and ramblings on all things fic/fandom related, feel free to follow me on Twitter. You can friend me on livejournal too if you wish.

You'll also find me rambling around some other Twi communities. A Different Forest , The Gazebo , Edwardville,

I'm a VIP Author at ADifferentForest.com. I'll be posting any new stories there, and i've a sparkly red cabin for people to hang out.

These are all awesome places to hang out, discuss different aspects of fandom and interact with some pretty cool people.

updated note 5-Jan-2011 - I've not discontinued any of my WIPs. I apologise for the delay in updates and my goal is to complete the writing before I post again. Thanks for all your continued interest and support.

I'm really pleased with the positive reception my stories have gotten, as well as the valuable feedback from all the lovely people in the fandom. Thank you all so much! It's great to have a place where I can play around with favourite characters, writing styles and to learn a bit about putting a story together. Thanks for making this fun!

I do my best to reply to all reviews. If I missed any, still know that I appreciate them all.

I'm not about to discontinue any of my stories, I'll let you all know if that was the case. I know that delays in updates for WIPs suck and I apologise. I'll get there eventually.

And thanks also to all the wonderful authors who have shared stories for us to enjoy! All of the stories and authors in my faves are well worth checking out.

Derailment

An all human story. Bella and Edward share an instant connection in a train station and though both their lives have gone off track they are still drawn to each other despite everything else. Still in progress and sometimes challenging to write. It's about finding someone special who can bring you out of yourself and becoming happy with what you have.

The two songs that set the mood for this story, and inspire and influence it are Faces Going Places by Jose Vanders and Heroes and Ghosts by the Coronas. Check them out and see why.

Snap is definitely the darkest thing I have ever written and also the story I like best, It's a two part AU twist on what could have happened on Bella's first day of school. I understand why not everyone would like the events, but I promise it is decent and evocative.

This Weekend. A short AH story in which we follow Bella and Edward and friends over the course of a single weekend in which everything is the same and everything changes.

Bella loves the weekend. The freedom, the fun, the break from school and studying. She wants nothing more than to hang out with friends, laugh, dance, go out and get drunk. She spends most of her time with Rose and Alice, her two best friends who have recently acquired new boyfriends. This forces her to spend time with her absent and intriguing lab partner; Edward Cullen.

Heatwave

Takes place between Eclipse and Breaking Dawn and is so far proving to be popular, much to my delight. The amount of reviews/recs/favourites continue to astound me. It's meant to be cute and fun. So think of it as a brief interlude from all the drama. I know that none of this would happen in the books and it's just about seeing how they might act in 'normal' circumstances, as a pair of loved up and slightly frustrated teens. Like after Twilight where they has 'the most perfect summer ever'. The characterisation might not be exact but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the sake of heat, comedy and fun.Its shows how I think Bella and Edward might act if there was no danger hanging over them. Reading over it, I see spelling/grammar mistakes and I wish I had the energy to go correct them. That story suffered from a terrible lack of editing and there a couple of parts I'd love to scrap. When writing it, I literally updated as I went along. Regardless, I love most of the story and I love that others enjoyed it too.

I know I mentioned a possible sequel, and it was all mapped out in my head but it won't ever be written. I'm not sure there is enough interest anymore and the tone would be so different without the tension. But there I still have ideas and they will most likely come into fruition through one-shots like Tire Swing. There are still some things I wish to make happen and to explore and will do so without the confines of a multichapter fic.

Brighter Discontent and Oh What a Night are companions to Heatwave from Rosalie's and Jasper's perspective respectively at different points of the main story. They didn't fit as chapters but I think they are good add ons. Jasper's story is more comedic, while Rosalie's is more of a character study to explain her actions in the books and in the fanfic.

Tire Swing is a post BD story oneshot, and please don't let the mention of Renesmee in the summary turn you off. It is cute and sweet and very similar in tone to Heatwave. It's about family time with Cullens, a very child like Nessie and some much needed bonding time with Edward and his daughter. There's also romance and a little lemon thrown in.

Connected is exactly what you think it is. My entry to the Tattward contest. A short story about two people finding each other, losing their way, re-uniting and knowing that no matter what they are connected. All Human. Contain sex but not exactly smutty.

Pillow Talk is a series of conversations at bedtime between the four core Cullen couples. Just a glimpse into life and relationships and a chance for me to play around. ETA - i probably won't ever post the other three chapters. i lost them and i don't see myself re-writing at this moment.

Don't You Want Me? is an all human one shot that serves as my entry to Jayeliwoods Sexy Edward Contest. It is lemony but I am incapable of writing a story with just sex so there is a cute little backstory too. I like to think it's more realistic than some other similar stories, there's no corny declarations of love and even though it's kinda inspired by a song, it's not a cheesy song-fic. I look at it as my little experiment at writing smut...so it clearly is far from perfect and there are quite a few cliches in there...still readers seem to like it anyway.

As I'm not American I spell some words differently, so while I appreciate when people take the time to point out mistakes so I can fix them, please don't tell me I'm spelling words wrong when it's not wrong to me.

slight pen-name change from xxxRubyxxx to Ruby-Wednesday. those x's just didn't flow right. maybe some of you won't recognize me anymore but I meant to change it for ages.

If you have any other questions/comments feel free to PM me! If you are waiting for a response check that pm's are enabled on your profile. If I've not gotten back to you, sorry.
