July 2, 08: Yeah yeah yeah. I know what you're thinking. Where the hell have I been? Eh. Sorry. I was really all set out to finish SMX, but I don't know if it'll happen. I started writing Doctor Who/Torchwood fanfiction. A lot of it. It's pretty addictive. I'm also not using FF.net too much anymore. I joined a writing competition on gaiaonline known as SuWriMo (summer writing months) where you set a word goal and have to write a story that long by the end of the summer. Me, being an idiot, picked 60,000 words. I figured, heck, I can beat all these losers doing 20k, but I'm not insane enough to write 150k. The fic is called Bloom to Perish. It's a Torchwood/Doctor Who cross over fic, and I might throw in Smallville too. Basically, it's a fic where Tosh becomes the Doctor's next companion. In it Tosh never died. I actually have a really great explanation why she didn't. Anywho, I'm not really going to upload it until I'm completely done. Reading unfinished fics that are uploaded have become a real pet peeve of mine, because I hate the wait between chapters. I know. I'm SUCH a hypocrite. Sorry. I'm trying to be better. If all goes well and I feel like I have room for a sequel, I'd love to do a Torchwood/Doctor Who/Sailor Moon epic cross over after it. I really love the way Tosh's character is developing (and having psychotic break downs, which I really didn't plan), so that's why I can only foresee doing a sequel to it if I can keep Tosh's character the same. I'm hoping she'll come out of the story a completely changed, confident, beautiful, well rounded woman. I'll keep you updated? Word Count: 14,000/60,000

Ian-my beta. Let's just put it this way, I would hate to be him. I'd hate to have to pick up all the errors I have lying around in my fics. xD He's amazing. I really don't know how he handles it.
Aria-my best friend in the world. Even though she doesn't watch Sailor Moon or have the slighest idea what I'm talking about, she's always there to let me talk to myself, then chime in with some song lyrics. xD ilyyy.
Brii-my other best friend. Nothing beats us rushing to get a chapter out, then bursting into songs from Veggie Tales.

Madelyn-the only reason why I bother to put out chapters. She's over there with a stick poking me until I do. She spams my email, yim, anything to get me to post. I love her though.
Kelsey-the one who lives in the next neighborhood over, comes to my house, and reads over my shoulder as I write.

Food for the Thought
If I don't update my fanfiction for months on end, I haven't forgotten about it. Seriously. My mind is on fanfiction 24/7. I'm always trying to come up with plot twists and pairings and exciting scenes. My chapters are so long that it takes me forever to type a full chapter. If you yim me asking about an upcoming chapter, I'll normally give you a sneak peak. I map out all my chapters before typing them, so I can always send you that, too. Anything to prove I'm not slacking...
