Author has written 4 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mysterious Cities Of Gold.

Who am I? Well, I am a history and social studies teacher. I have s Bachelors degree in History and another in Secondary Education. My specialties are pre-Colombian and colonial Latin America as well as the Classics, particularly ancient Rome. I minored in Anthropology, Latin, and ESOL. I have not ruled out going on to graduate school, but plan to teach for a while first. I was born, raised, and currently live in Utah (I love my home state :D ). As far as hobbies, I would like to say that fan fiction and fan art are hobbies, but I work on them too rarely for that so I call them pursuits. I read a lot, maintain my website, and collect things like rocks, manga and comic books. I love to travel and have finally gone abroad visiting France, Germany, and Belgium in May of 2006. I also spent part of the summer in Mexico, which I loved.

Some of my favorite things include:

Movies - Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Phantom of the Opera, Labyrinth, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Treasure Island (Disney's version with Robert Newton), and many more. I love movies!

Books - The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, The King's Fifth by Scott O'Dell, Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Blossom Culp Stories by Richard Peck, Dirk Pitt novels by Clive Cussler, the Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer and too many more to list. I am also a fan of Victorian novels so I really enjoy books like Dracula, Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein, Les Miserables and almost anything by Jules Verne. I love books even more than movies. :D

Cartoons – The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gargoyles, Voltron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men (old school rather than Evolution), He-Man (I particularly enjoyed the 200x version).

Anime - Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho (I happen to be a Kuwabara fan so deal! ;P), Inu Yasha, Slayers, Magic Knight Rayearth, Trigun, Sailor Moon, and DragonBall Z.

TV - Law and Order, CSI, Glee, BBC Sherlock Holmes

Music - Loreena McKennitt, Breaking Benjamin, Michael Crawford, Evanescence, Enya, Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, and Dido.

Games – Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, Sims and Sims 2, Bubble Bobble, Wizardry series (Crusaders of the Dark Savant is my fav) and Ultima Online (If you see a woman named Lome on the Lake Superior shard, that is probably me.) I also occaisionally play WoW.
