As she leans down a bit to put it back in place, she sees a quick movement on the other side. “Hello?” she asks somewhat nervously, looking around and seeing and hearing no one but her in this section of the library. When no one answers (her voice echoes eerily in the emptiness), she gracefully shrugs her shoulders and accepts that she imagined it. Sakura straightens up, pushes a couple of strands behind her ear with one hand, and walks quickly back to the main counter with two books tucked haphazardly under one arm, her head bowed. It was only inevitable that she would run into someone, she will muse later, as her face collides with someone else’s hard chest. The books spill to the floor, as she starts to fall backwards. The stranger’s hands quickly jut out and catch her before she can fall all the way, and hold her straight until she could stand on her own. “I’m so sorry,” the pink-haired student gushes, dashing a look up, and immediately her mouth freezes as her eyes lock onto dark onyx ones. For merely a moment their eyes meet, but she sees the soft-guilt in his eyes before leaning down to pick up the books that had fallen – Madame Bovary and Anna Karenina.
