Hello, my name is Mika. I'm a twenty year-old college student and I write for fun XD I am more concerned, presently, with my original fiction work (found at fictionpress.com under the same pen name), but I haven't given up on fan fiction completely. So, what can I say about myself as a fan fiction writer?

When I wrote my first fan fiction, I was basically your typical immature Mary Sue-er (hah, strange terminology ). I don't claim to have completely outgrown that stage! Really, I don't believe anyone HAS to outgrow a love for Mary Sues, as long as they give fair warning. It is the same if you had written a yaoi fic, or an NC-17 fic (though not here, obviously), you have to give fair warning to the readers because some people find those things unsavory, to say the least. So, I will give everyone plenty of fair description about my fiction work; whether they contain Mary Sues (even in the slightest), shounen ai pairings, AU, and the like. Hopefully, at the least, I won't get any complaints about unoriginal work! Although my personal fan characters can still be very typical, I pride myself in being able to come up with original stories for them. My older fictions do not exactly reflect this, especially since the only people I had to rely on for reviews were my two best online friends, Kitty-chan and Red-chan. They're still my best online friends to this day (eight years later) and I think we have all matured considerably since those first days! My personal fan characters have also matured.

My first character was Mika Briefs, a blatant Mary Sue. The daughter of Bulma and Vegeta. Wow! At least I was able to come up with a semi-reasonable explanation for her friendliness with the Briefs family. I have published the only two finished chapters of the story here as Dragonball M (oooh, original title!). My most recent fan character is Elizabeth Dairk Eyine Maxwell. You might guess she is a Gundam Wing fan character...WRONG! She's a Hogwarts Student XD Her story is completely stand-alone and is a fan character merely because she exists in J.K.R.'s beautiful universe. The most she has to do with the main characters in the books is that she has heard of them, as had all of the children of that time. Of course, this isn't to say that I don't still create characters sheerly to mess with the main personas of an anime or some other thing. My One Piece version of Mika is just as obsessed with Sanji as I am in real life! Still, I can restrain myself in my more mature state and I gave her her own ship and so far in her story she only makes contact with Sanji as he tries to stop her from robbing Nami's rubies.

Anyway, I'm not here to list all of my fan characters and why they're so special! You may still think that I am a regular old Mary Sue-er (is this correct terminology?), and that's fine with me. I just want to give ample explanation and warning so that I recieve absolutely no complaints from anti-Mary Sue fiction readers!
