I've been reading fanfiction for about 10 years and I still love it. I'm sorry to say that my CSI fanfic will never ever be finished. I tried writing just to answer a challenge that I had made once, but I now know for certain that writing is not my forte (I'm better at editing). I do however read all the time. I've literally read thousands of stories, so if I like a story- I really like it. If I don't review it's because I have no comments that would be constructive for the story. I don't like reviewing just for the sake of a review. I ship for couples in many fandoms and don't even know how I got into reading most of them. In my real life I'm just past college aged, do a lot of crafting (knitting, crochet, and spinning mostly), and live in the beautiful Catskills of Upstate NY. As a fun fact as well, while I like reading some Twilight fanfic I actually did not like the Twilight books. Stephenie Meyer created some good characters but I don't like her writing style. I like the potential in the fanfics more. I also love musicals, especially Phantom of the Opera (fan since before the movie came out- Gerard Butler had a horrible voice, but I liked his looks for Phantom. My favorites have been Ramin Karimloo and John Cudia.).

I despise angsty/tragedy fics. I try to read only ones where there is a happy ending or at least suggestion of happy ending. I don't mind angst on the way to the happy ending as long as there is a happy ending.

Severus Snape/Hermione Granger is my OTP of all fanfiction. I have never found such a broad range of different amazing stories comparable to that which have found for them.

I love the Doctor/Rose from Doctor Who. I mostly read 9/Rose because they were so cute together and he never hurt her (cough GitF cough), but I also enjoy 10, 10.5, and 11 stories with Rose. I also love reading stories where Rose meets previous Doctors.
