Hi :)

All my stories are Harry Potter so far - Harry/Hermione only ( I don't really care about the other ships in HP, these two are the only ones who really fit imo)

My rule is that I don't post a story until it's finished. It just allows for changes and reviews can sometimes change where I go with it which often ends up as a disaster, trying to follow someone elses idea of what should happen in your story! (NOTE - oops actually the Babylon stories are the exception - I just posted a few chapters of each to check if anyone could understand it - since I got some positive feedback I'm continuing but it's veeery long so sorry it will be a while, but I will finish it!)

SHIPS I love - they're all forbidden ones! What does that say about me...?! Don't wanna think about that one too much :)

Harry Potter:

Harry & Hermione (3 stories in progress!)

X Men:

Logan (Wolverine) & Marie (Rogue)

Heroes:

Peter & Claire (Yes I know, Uncle, blah blah...oh the heady days of season 1 when we didn't know that)

Moonlight:

Mick & Beth

Sky High:

Warren & Layla

(I love Twilight - Edward & Bella, but I don't read fanfic on them because the books are perfect enough for me!)

Things I look for in fanfic (I only read the above ships really)

A plot! I do like well written fluff but I really appreciate well thought out and clever plots that incorporate canon details.

Romance. Sigh.

I like the author to have them in character and canon - I don't do AU unless it's reeeeally good

Something happening! So many fanfics are just the authors thoughts on the ship let out in a stream of consciousness through the characters. I wanna see some action man!

Romance. And Happy (ish) Endings! I don't read this stuff for reality! Can't a girl get a bit of escapism. Geez.

Slow burn. Not just 'hey I love you!' - 'really? I never knew that - me too!' - 'Great! lets get freaky!'. I dont' read anything where they're together already - snore.

Original styles and experimental pieces, I appreciate the effort!

Did I mention romance. Fluff is all good with me!

My stories

Are all quite different I think. They're either angsty long things or the complete opposite and short quick lighthearted fluff. Weirdo I know.

I like reviews of course and any tips on my writing are appreciated, tho I'm a sensitive thing and I appreciate it when someone breaks it to me gently! I spend a lot of time on these things (toooo much time) and I try really hard to make them as good as I can and to get better at writing. I always review, I think it's a courtesy for the time someone took to write, tho if I have nothing good to say then I slip quietly out... :) But there's a lot of good stories on here, and great writers.

I also post on Portkey.org (a really good HHr website) as griffyndorgirl -I have a few chapter stories in there that aren't here.
