Is it college yet? *blinks*....It is?!

What have I gotten myself into...

Well, anyway I'm now apparently a college student (originally from Trinidad & Tobago, now in Georgia -_-;)
Dude, the winter up here's gonna be the death of me....
Makes for good angst!fics though! ^_~ w00t!

So yea, I usually have an OTP in any particular fandom and ship 'em pretty hard to boot. Any type - het, yaoi, yuri....all float around this spacey head of mine.
Regularly.

I'm basically a positive person. Even with disturbing pairings/stories, the idea that there is hope deep down is important to me, and may seem to be a recurring theme in my fics (I *do* have themes, damn you).

I think as a writer, the fact that we can *create* meaning is a beautiful thing.
That's what it's all about, isn't it? Crafting significance. Making your readers feel *something*.

I hope I can do at least that.

1) Rurouni Kenshin (A&M all the way)
2) Lord Of The Rings (an epic tale if there ever was one...)
3) Dragonball Z (thoough I can only see it in spanish...O.o;)
4) Harry Potter (what can I say? magic and goblins and wizards, oh my!)

PERPETUAL QUESTS:
1) To learn as much as I can.
2) To improve my writing. Maybe I can even get up to the level of some of the really talented authors out there....yes....that would be nice....^.^
3) To make useful contributions to the scientific world.
4) To travel the world....no, seriously!
5) To become enlightened. (Aren't we all trying for this one?)
