Author has written 24 stories for Newsies. "I contain multitudes." --Walt Whitman Just a few facts about me: I'm a twenty-one-year-old college student, justending her third year. I'm an English major. No, I don't want to be a teacher with my English degree (just to get that answer out of the way, in case any of you are like my parents). Between work and school I'm pretty busy, but I try to get something written when I can. Er, besides the times when I'm slacking, that is. I am a scary slash fan. If you've read any of my stuff, you know this, but, well, it bears repeating. The more interesting fandom stuff: --To date, the only fandom I've completed stories in is Newsies. My Newsies OTP is Jack/David (Javid, anyone?) and my favorite character is David. I feel this is important to say, not only so you know my predominant pairing, but also so you know that David will often have large roles in my stories. Looking for senseless character bashing? Don't come to me. I love almost all the characters, to some degree or another, and I do my best to portray them fairly. Yes, even Sarah. Other pairings I write include Spot/Race, Blink/Mush, Snitch/Itey, etc. The only things I really won't write are Jack/Spot and David/Denton. They both squick me. --If you like the stuff I have on ff.net, you may be interested to know that I regularly post (mostly Newsies-related) fandom stuff on livejournal (linked above). The things I post range from drabbles, to snippets from stories in progress, to one-shots I don't feel like going to the trouble of posting here, to rants about different subjects. (I'm very friendly to people who wander in and comment in my journal, so feel free.) --Speaking of smut (because I totally was), I've got several such fics up at the Refuge. My pairing tastes tend to run towards buddy relationships, ie I vastly prefer Harry/Ron over Harry/Draco. When I eventually finish some of the stories I've started for other fandoms, they will inevitably contain that sort of pairing, although every once in a while I'll go for an antagonist relationship. I'd list fandoms, but really, that would take too long. If I've seen it/read it I most likely ship it. And, hey, I'm always up for new fandoms. Send an email my way if you want to recommend something to me. --A quick note on some of my earlier uncompleted stories: Those are on hiatus for the time being. I'd really like to finish them, but my writing style and skill level have changed drastically enough that it makes finishing them in a manner remotely resembling the earlier product a difficult task.
