Biggest Fanfiction Pet-Peeve

When in the middle of their story, written in plain English, (mainly in anime's, obviously) they use one word in Japanese. Because they're so cool that they know five words. Usually words being Hai, Arigato, Konnichi-wa, Gomen, and of course...KAWAII! Okay, seriously. We already know they live in Japan and that they speak Japanese. What are you trying to get across? I KNOW LITTLE BITS OF JAPANESE BUT ONLY IN ROMAJI AND CAN'T PROPERLY SPELL THAT ANYWAY (don't feel bad, I only know romaji myself, that's not what I'm saying, haha) The thing is, it's used excessively.

Nothing is more annoying than this:

"Mizuki-chan, you are looking extra kawaii today."

"Arigato, Ryo-kun. But iie, I don't!"

I mean, that'd be like talking in English then all of a sudden going: "Why do you have to go to the dance tonight?" "Por que I want to!"

Sure, when someone says something there's the "Gracias" or "Si" but usually not used in a sentence. And if they're already speaking Japanese why do you feel the need to type it in English and then put in Japanese words? It defeats the purpose and really ruins the flow because you know they're in Japan, you know they're speaking Japanese--and then--crap, what were they speaking English this whole time?

Yeah...this is bigger than my Real Life pet peeve--when someone doesn't hit clear on the microwave. Seriously, I always mess up the time then.

Since the beginning of their historical records, the Water Tribe and Fire Nation have been bitter enemies. The war has raged for so long, no one even knows what caused it. Until the two come to a conclusion, learning that only one thing can bring them together. A truce--using them as bargaining chips. Sailor Moon/Beyblade Crossover. Will eventually be a Hotaru/Kai fic. When Hotaru ends up in the world of Beyblading, how can she get back to her own world? Through several occasions, she begins to realize that her own self was taken to a netherworld, unbeknownst to herself. How, then, is she supposed to help the Sailor Scouts? Or rather, how can they come help her when soon enough her new world is invaded by an old enemy of the Sailors--one that she doesn't recognize, for how could she when she herself was never introduced to these mysterious four girls.
