On Fandom Blanket statement: I'm not a slash person. I'm not really a pairing person, actually--I prefer my fics to have the same genres as the original canons, which is almost always action, not romance. Fandom: Star Wars. Others come and go--Avatar: The Last Airbender stayed around for a while, FMA still appears occasionally, and I'm contemplating a Portal fanfic--but I live in Star Wars. I prefer the OT (come on, it's got better special effects, and its got young Mark Hamill--not to mention the fact that the acting is bearable), but without the PT I'd be without a lot of my favorite people from the saga. I like character designs from the PT, but the depth and dialogue just...something happened to them. Something bad. However, that means I'm much more willing to write AUs of the PT, because I don't feel like I'm trying to fix something that's not broken. On the Clone Wars television show: I dislike Ahsoka's flat canon characterization enough to call her a Mary Sue. I nevertheless have an odd fondness for trying to improve her--she's an alien Jedi, which are always fun to write--and can now safely say that I like my Ahsoka, the one in Shattered Pieces and Ahsoka's Akul.
