Update! (9/27) Winners Announcement:

SBS 3.0 Winners will be announced Saturday, October 1 at 12:00pm EST. The reveals will take place via Twitter (follow @SlashBackslash3).

We will post banners and reviews for the winning stories on Twislash Unveiled immediately following our Twitter announcement.

Guidelines and Rules:

Submissions will be accepted from August 1 - September 5, 2011, ending at 11:59 PM that day.

Entries must be one-shots between 2,500 - 10,000 words in length. This includes header and the FFn bloat. (We will ask you to cut if your story exceeds the word limit).

Entries may be vampy, Canon, AU, AH and any genre (e.g., angst, humor, family, drama, suspense).

Entries must be rated appropriately and must include all necessary warnings.

Any and all Male/Male pairings accepted. Any rating accepted.

For the love of God, lubrication or disqualification.

No Rape. No Pedophilia. No incest (adoption doesn't count). No bestiality (Wolves don't count).

Collaborations are welcome, as are multiple entries. Sorry, no crossovers.

Please have your story beta'd. We encourage authors to check out Project Team Beta.

Entries will be accepted from fanfiction.net (FFn) or LiveJournal (LJ) only. See submission guidelines below.

Any non-FFn entries will only be linked on this profile for viewing.

Entries must be a new story and must not be posted anywhere prior to August 1, and should not be posted anywhere else until the contest ends and winners have been posted.

We're cool with expansion of one-shots after the contest is over and winners have been announced, but please keep in mind that one-shots are judged largely on their ability to exist solely as a one-shot. ‘Remember to vote’ chapters posted will be grounds for disqualification.

Promotion:

We sincerely appreciate and any all promotion of the contest in general. However, pimpage of individual stories is discouraged. Please link the Slash Backslash profile page or C2 when announcing your entry. No entries may be rec’d or reviewed on blogs until after the contest is over.

We've teamed up with TwiSlash Unveiled to promote the contest and entries, so please check the blog weekly for updates and slash writing inspiration.
