Author has written 58 stories for Series Of Unfortunate Events, 24, Pendragon, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Heartland, 8 Simple Rules, Alex Rider, Phantom Stallion, Danny Phantom, A Walk to Remember, School of Rock, and Bridge to Terabithia. My name is Lauren... that's basically all you need to know about me in particular. Anything you need to learn about me can be learned by the way I write I am most likely on hiatus... cause I do that... often. I'm doing some serious work on my Fictionpress account :) The one and only thing you do need to know about me as a person is that I am a Christian and I am living my life to please Jesus Christ, and not anyone else. So, as a result there will not be anything in my fics that is against my faith such as swearing, overly graphic sexual scenes, or slash. Besides, it's not even my first inclination to write stuff like that. I think it makes the reading and the writing process really painful, and I find things like that completely unecessary. A Word About My Writing: Many people get dissapointed when they see that most of my stuff is one-shots, and encourage me to write longer fics, but I'm probably not going to write a long one unless an idea really catches my fancy. I find something very interesting about a one-shot, and not even a one-shot that is a story. I like to write one-shots that are just like a snapshot into someone else's soul - emotional one-shots, a single moment in someone's life. Not long, epic stories. Yeah, I've written a few longs ones... but It's not gonna happen often. So don't expect it. Also, I tend to write for fandoms that don't have that many fans. ASOUE has been my only super-popular fandom, though even that didn't have that many fans. So, it bothers me that some of my fandoms don't have that many fans because I write tons of fics and only get like... a minimal amount of reviews. But I write what I feel, and it's best to write for something that I can be genuine about rather than something that will get a lot of reviews. Upcoming Projects: I know I've been a little bit lacking in writing and reading on ff.net lately, so after this new year rolls around I am going to be making sure I write at least one fic a week (or update one), and read a couple a week. People read my fics so I should probably read theirs... at least a few anyways. Possibly a bunch of songfics corresponding to Taylor Swift's new cd "Fearless", or just her lyrics in general. I love the new cd, and it really goes well with a lot of the books I read, because Taylor's lyrics are just so relateable to everyday girl life, lol.
