I'm a twenty-one year old college girl enamoured of Scandinavian culture and music, the writings of Tolkien, good fantasy fiction, film, my gorgeous violin, and my darling friends. I am a History and Scandinavian Studies major who intends to go to grad school and one day become a college professor (or museum curator, archivist, preservationist, or librarian, but prof tops the list). I speak Norwegian, French, and, of course, that expressive language, English. I am also a bit of a grammar Nazi (as is probably evident) and Instant Messanger lingo (abbreviations, purposeful misspellings, etc.) annoys me to no end. Hopefully my writings are interesting, but you can always tell me if they aren't, now can't you?

Update: I did it! I updated! It took forever and it meant procrastinating a great deal of homework, but I finally managed to update "The Leaves Fall in Mirkwood," and hopefully I'll have enough time and lack of writer's block to write another chapter, and another, and another! Luckily for you all, Thanksgiving is coming up soon and winter break not long after! Now please, go review! I live for reviews!

Okay, children, believe it or not, but I am currently trying to furiously type out chapter 7 of "The Leaves Fall in Mirkwood," which should be up, just as soon as I find time in my full courseload, 14-hours of work a week, extracurricular-filled life. I seriously can't believe I haven't updated the damn thing in over a year, so for those of you who are still faithfully hopeful, you won't have to wait much longer! (Hint to fellow writers: Leaving a work of fan fiction alone for a year, while doing little to make your fan base happy, does wonders for dispelling writer's block!)
