The elites have little trust in the "hierarchs" abilities to maintain discipline within their own race, so the elite High Council created the Mirratord as a "Secret Service" to deal with traitors within the Prophets ranks. These warriors specialize in the use of dual single blade plasma swords; have stronger energy shields; and the most advanced active camouflage system within the covenant. They are also labaled as Heretics if they are captured or fail in a mission against a prophet, this is simply a farse so that the Mirratord secret is not revealed.
