I'm working on some more FFVIII and XII material. I've dabbled in a bit more of my Kingdom Hearts fic as well, so they're coming along slowly but surely.

I don't like immaturity. I don't like plagiarism. I'm usually an incredibly cynical person and I love dry, sarcastic humor. I don't like people who take fanfics WAY too seriously. It's not like we can get published, people. This is for fun, so please keep all that stuff in mind when reading my fanfics. If I don't nail a character's personality quite right, it's because I don't spend every waking moment studying them. Sure, if I got paid for this, then it'd be a different story...

Final Fantasy VIII - Sound of a Trembling Heart

The title really has to do with a song that I love, which is referenced in the prologue. I would be lying if I denied that this new fic had been inspired by one I just read, so I would like to point out that the story Fire and Ice by altol is absolutely incredible. I wasn't even a big Seifer x Quistis person, but the composition by this author alone was enough to change my mind.

Anyway, this fic is simply about Seifer and Quistis, their recollection of the Second Sorceress War, and overcoming their pain. I swiped a few tiny elements from The Departed and changed the situation just a little - Seifer wasn't a traitor, and his mission was the most difficult of all.

Final Fantasy X - The Story of Our Predecessors

A prequel to the actual game of FFX, following Auron and Braska before the big pilgrimage. Even though little hints were thrown at us in the game, we never did discover much about Auron's past. So, I'm putting together a story. Just why did Auron refuse to marry? And what caused the grudge between him and Kinoc? A small idea I had pretty much spread like wildfire so I wrote some of it out. It's a romance but I'm sorta doing it in Wuthering Heights fashion, if you've ever read the book. I don't know how long it's going to be, but I like details and explanations, so it'll probably extend pretty far. I felt like I had to write about Auron because the guy's had such a rough life...he had to have gotten laid at least once. :3

Kingdom Hearts - Darkness of the Heart

This fic focuses on Riku and his decision to leave Destiny Islands in order to live with the darkness. He knows something isn't right - there are still unanswered questions in the Ansem Reports, plus Maleficent, Pete, the Heartless, and countless Nobodies are still out there...Post-KHII, about 7 or 8 years later. I don't quite know how far this story is going to go, but my ideas kept piling up, so I did a brain-puke. I already have a feeling I'm going to extend it into a sequel or just make it one really long story.

Batman and Catwoman - The Emerald Eye

I really don't know. I just had an idea one day, so I'm kinda writing it out, and I have no clue where it's going to go for now. I just love the pairing, and I used to be an avid fan of the original Batman cartoon series (back in like...the 1990's). I've never read the comics, so don't be pissed if I don't follow the comic history. I'm writing the story based on the characters of both "The Animated Series" and the recent "Batman Begins" movie because I liked how realistic and dark they made it. To sum up, I hated how there were always subtle romantic hints towards Batman and Catwoman/Bruce and Selina, but never anything major. Well, I'm creating my own story, dammit, and it's going to be romantic (of course with a bit of bittersweet fighting).

Please take note that I've swiped a few elements from both the recent movie, Batman Begins, and the animated style, so I can't really assign the fic to any one type of genre. When I'm typing up Selina, I think about the blonde, animated version. When I'm typing up Alfred banter, I think of Michael Caine from the movie. When I think of battle scenes, I like it to be more dark and realistic like the movie, but I think of Bruce as a more cheerful and goofy-like character from the animated series. Sorry to be complicated. If anything, I rely on the movie more than anything else.

Bleach - No Matter What: Fight or Die

What can I say? I just love Bleach. I love every single character in Bleach, and I love the 11th and 6th squads of Seireitei the most, 10th coming in a close third. The Bount Arc was pretty bleh, necessary filler, so I figured I could spice things up a bit without altering any Bleach history. I originally thought of a Byakuya fanfic, but the guy is just so badass and awesome by himself that I don't have the heart to change him. Instead, I thought I'd twist the idea a bit. My original character has a crush on Captain Kuchiki...or does she? The one person she can't stand ends up to be more than she expected...and a past she had forgotten has returned, more potent and unrelenting.

Final Fantasy XII - The Complete Tale

When I finished playing Final Fantasy XII, I was sorely disappointed. There were so many gaps in the plot, unanswered questions, and poor character development that I felt that I had to re-write the entire story from scratch, from start to finish.

I introduce to you Final Fantasy XII. The entire story has been unedited in terms of what you've seen in the game. I've kept the original game script intact, but I've added in many more details, background stories, and I've filled in the gaps. I've even added an extra character. Please keep in mind that I've written the story on an assumption that you've actually played the game, or at least have seen the introduction. I will not go through any lengths to explain the character's abilities, "magick," "technicks," Quickenings, etc., therefore don't be mad at me if the story doesn't make sense to you.

Also, since Final Fantasy XII didn't have any romance, I came up with some much-needed pairings. The relationships definitely needed work. Some are a more subtle than others, but hey, it gets the job done, right? I'm not going to give it away, I think it'd spoil the story. It's obvious once you keep reading, anyway.

And finally, I've changed each character's age, since I do not think they match correctly in the game.

Bleach - Fight or Die: The Hollow Within - My upcoming sequel to my first Bleach story. Delayed but not on hiatus - I hate reading manga and would rather wait until the animated updates come out so I can keep up with the story. I'm still planning on posting this... Batman and Catwoman - The Crimson Claw - The sequel I'm thinking about writing after The Emerald Eye, involving more of Bruce/Selina and Bat/Cat angst. If you're familiar with the Animated Series, the title might sound familiar... (bits and pieces currently in the works)
