Majors By necessity, I'm almost completely nocturnal; my job as a laboratory specimen prep technician keeps me awake until nearly sunrise each morning. And as I spend 45+ hours per week at the labs, I usually have little time during my work week for anything outside of sleep and a few errands, so if you attempt to contact me, I may be slow to respond. It is for this same reason that I can be slow with updating my multi-chapter fics, so thanks to everyone for their patience. Fandom Interests Current Fic Update Status/Unfinished Works "Twenty-Eight Ratchets" - (Transformers, Gen1) - A series of short Ratchet based ficlets, written for a Livejournal meme, originally with a total of twenty-eight topic prompts. - Chapters posted as ficlets are completed. "Transition" - (Mega Man X, One-Shot) - Letting go of the past is difficult, especially when brief farewells are no consolation for years of repressed feelings. Alia commemorates the tragic passing of an old colleague, learning along the way with the help of a close companion that you can't look back forever on what could have been. - Ninety percent complete, edits pending. I have been getting a lot of reviews and questions lately about when/if I will be continuing "Running the Gauntlet." I do plan to finish it, but unfortunately my fan fic sometimes take a back seat to other aspects of my life, including my night job, my art, contests, conventions and a number of boring adult responsibilities I usually wish I didn't have to deal with. As of right now, chapter twelve is in progress and is actually nearing completion. I stopped work on it for a while when my inspiration took temporary leave and sort of left me in a creative slump. On October 2, I'll be leaving Oklahoma for a week to visit family and friends in California, but I'm actually hopeful that I will get chapter twelve finished and posted before I go out of state. And I promise that as the story continues, the excitement won't end even when Tashk has been dealt with... After all, there's no point in sending the Junkers home if there isn't further drama, action and excitement waiting in the wings! Please stay tuned and thank you for your continued patience.
