Wow, it's been a while, no? For the non-existant people who actually read this, I'm sorry for not updating my "Reality of the Image" story. Truth is, my grandfather was the one who helped me flesh out the characters of that story and he died while we were working on Coleman Reese. It's been incredibly hard for me to work on his character since, but I will get it done. I can't promise anything spectacular, but I will sit on it and work it until I feel that it's good enough to be published. In all honesty, I'm not much of a writer. I'm more of a reader. The only times I do write is when I can't find what I want to read.

Anyway, I saw Tron a few times in the theater and I loved it (I can see why some people hate it though (like my best friend)). Being that I'm in a Tron zone, I've managed to write a story for it. Being that's it's really been a while since I wrote really anything, this is a big deal for me. I hope there's more to come. :)

Good news! I'm going to school! YAY! I took my placement test and as predicted, I aced the English part of the test and also as predicted, I bombed the math. I'm so bad at math I have to retake PRE-algebra. Shit! I remember learning that in freakin' MIDDLE SCHOOL. I learned it and I forgot it so a lot a good it did me (for the kiddos that are probably NOT reading this, math is needed in the outside world. Otherwise you end up being a school bus driver like me and having to pay to relearn everything you should have already known by graduation). Anyway, I'm pretty excited to start school. Who knows, maybe I'll find more time to write. After all, I do write best when I'm supposed to be doing something else. That is how three of those stories down there got started.

As for other events in my life; on the bad side, I've been officially diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, which basically means I need to take "Happy Pills" (God, sounds like something out of 'Brave New World', no?) and pay someone to listen to me talk. Hopefully things will get better. On the good side, I've finally gotten a job that I can honestly say I love as a school bus driver. I love kids and now I have a lot of them. Unfortunately, I do not get 8 hours 5 days a week (and I'm lucky the days I do) but the pay is good and again, I love kids.

I also recently taken a fascination toward 2012. I don't think anything will happen out of the ordinary, but I do find all the theories flying around like crazy are very interesting and now friends and family say I have an unhealthy obsession with it. Personally, I don't see what they're talking about. Nobody mentiones my obsession over the TV show Supernatural and that's a WAY bigger obsession.

I’m a vertically challenged almost albino girl with dark hair and dark circles under my dark eyes. Probably from lack of sleep which I consider a total waste of time that could be spent reading. I usually dress in tried and true jeans and tee-shirt combination. Add the jacket that is worn inside but never outside this time of year. Not with this summer heat.

I live alone in a small apartment that has a window staring at a brick building and a garbage dumpster with no internet or cable (or dish or anything). All that I have to keep me company are the roaches that infest the walls of my building and my cat who is too lazy to chase them. Despite that I rather love this place. I can do dishes whenever I feel like it (which is surprisingly often) and eat chocolate cake for dinner (which isn't very filling and gives me a sugar buzz which I don't like much). And I can stay up all night playing DDR (at least, on the weekends when I have no work in the morning and as long as my neighbors don't complain about my keeping them up all night).

As far as favorites go; I love Terry Goodkind’s books and will read anything of his that’s set in front of me. I like some of Steven King’s novels but much prefer his essays and recommendations. I think Dr. Seuss was a genius and have his whole collection. I don’t watch TV (the one exception is Supernatural which I have to watch as it first broadcasts. It is my holy religion so bite me) because nothing I want to watch comes on when I want to watch it so I revert to watching my shows online or on DVD. Those shows are Supernatural, Stargate SG1, Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies. I also like anime even though the Japanese are completely insane. Favorites of anime include Cowboy Bebop, Yami no Matsuei and Fruits Basket in no particular order.

Also I have one pet peeve that totally pisses me off. If you do review any of my stories, you can say whatever you want, good or bad. Except for one thing. Do not, I repeat, do not ask me to review your story. I think it's rude to fish for reviews when reviewing another person's story just because they aren't getting any reviews. If you aren't getting reviews change your summary. Plus, ninty-nine point nine repeating percent of the people who ask me to review their stories do not know how to write. Because they reviewed my story and asked me to review theirs, I feel obligated to review the story no matter how bad the story is. I used to be somewhat nice about it. But no more. While it’s true I still feel obligated to review if asked, if I think your story stinks, I will say so and I won’t be tactful. And all that because it puts me out and I don't like reading bad writing.

But enough about me, go read my favorites or if I have a story up, read that.
