What to say, what to say? I'm not particularly prolific, as I only write when I feel inspired (or have a really good idea), and that comes rarely. When I write, I rarely "show" - I "tell", and a lot of people have yelled at me about that in my poetry. I also rarely write anything longer than a few pages in length, simply because I'm not good at details, so I'm struggling with a fanfic that's already up to 7 pages - an ungodly length for me. And I can't figure out where to break it into the first chapter or two.

Most of my stuff is in first person, or from a close POV of one of the characters, and so that contradicts my "telling" style.

News on L'ucello: I've got the first half or so of chapter four...I did get that done over winter break, but I'm really, really, really stuck. I promise to get my butt in gear and work through it, and soon. I'm tempted to post what I have and ask for ideas/suggestions, but I dunno...maybe if I get super desperate.

Just in case anyone cares, I performed my monologue "Mme Monster" on 11/30/02 in front of a bundle of people, and I did fabulously well - at least, that's what everyone tells me, hehe.

I'd like to thank a guy at my old school (even though he'll probably never ever read this) for the opening sentences/thematic lines of a bunch of stories/written pieces. So thanks, Jim.
