Well, I'm back from a small, one-horse, podunk town that boasted one Wal-mart (lucky lucky) and one grocery store. It was quite an experience, let me tell you. I learned several valuable lessons whilst I was there.
1. Sometimes the people you think are your friend, aren't.
2. Having a car is really great.
3. *NEVER* lend money to anyone without a written contract that is signed, dated and notarized.
4. No good deed goes unpunished.

Cynical? Possibly. But even the most innocent and naive person becomes jaded if enough people take advantage of them. That being said, I've good news. I have finally (after a 4 month hiatus) updated Night's Pretend. I hope you enjoy this chapter, it was a long time coming, and as I told Nancers, I also hope it was worth the wait.

I ONLY write Pretender Fanfic, although I am writing a crossover between the Pretender and the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. (www.Dark-Hunter.com) I am a romantic at heart, so you will find me continuously pairing Jarod and Miss Parker together in my fics. If you don't like it, don't read it.
