Jan. 2, 2012 - I'm really neglecting my writing. Sorry about that. I'm working on it, I promise. Anyway, some sites you can check out if you want more of me: Shrodinger's Blog, which is a group blog with several friends, and OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?, my personal blog. Shrodinger's is updated more frequently. I am also in the process, right now, in uploading a fic I wrote as a gift over at the Genesis Awards for the Secret Santa, a murder mystery entitled The Twelve Days of X-Mas. Feel free to check it out - it should be up in an hour or two.

This is thanks to the Genesis Awards' "Fanfiction E-Book Project," which I spearheaded last year and is starting to actually look interesting now that I'm not fucking it up too terribly. Current projects:

Rewriting all of my old fic to take into account all of the things I've learned, and for general grammatical consistency. This is ongoing and is taking FOREVER.
* At least one, possibly two, epic-length Hermione Granger/Severus Snape fics, as well as a one-shot HG/SS and a three-chapter HG/SS that both are completed but need to be beta'd.
* Three original fics that I hope to get published, but I may put sneak peaks up here.
* A written but not beta'd oneshot for my good friend VulcanElf.
* A multi-chapter realistic homosexual pairing in the FFX world. There will be no seme or uke, but there will be realistic homosexual struggles. I don't expect this to get a lot of views, but I'm proud of it.

I will read almost any pairing, but my ships are Yuffie/Vincent (FF7), Rikku/Auron (FFX), Yuffie/Reno (FF7), and Snape/Hermione (Harry Potter). Snape/Hermione is really my only OTP. But once again, I'll read almost anything.

My most frequently asked question: "Where do you get your ideas?"
Answer: I have no idea where they come from, they just pop into my head randomly and I exclaim "I JUST GOT AN IDEA!" to Pen Against Sword or anyone who will listen, who usually goes "DO IT!" And then I do, and you guys read it.

My second most frequently asked question: "How could you support flames/harsh concrit/Flame Rising? UGH!"
Answer: Because I don't quite suck enough to warrant them and it doesn't effect me? XD I kid, I kid. Actually, I don't support flaming so much as I don't give a shit about them, and I feel you should feel the same way because it's just the damned internet. I think that anyone who writes should develop a thick skin as far as criticism (constructive or otherwise) goes.

My third most frequently asked question: "Will you do a pairing of _ and _ for me?"
Answer: I do not do request fics. This is because I have very little control over the creative process - and I'm serious here. When I write, things pop out and I generally have no control over it. It's all my muse, baby. Occasionally a request will spark interest in my muse, but it rarely turns out as originally outlined. I also do not do collaborations, because my muse is apparently a picky son of a bitch who doesn't like letting anyone else have control over the fic - not even me. :( While I do not do collaborations and requests, I do occasionally do gift fics. If you want to become a friend enough to warrant a gift fic, well, you'll just have to exert the effort. :)

My fourth most frequently asked question: "Who is your beta-reader? / Do you need a beta-reader?"
Answer: I currently do not have a full-time beta reader. Occasionally, Pen Against Sword, VulcanElf, or La Editor will take a glance at my stuff and tell me if I'm fucking up too badly.

My fifth most frequently asked question: "Why don't you reply to PM's or reviews?
Answer: I, unfortunately, do not have the time to respond to the myriad of reviews and PM's that I get. I would love to be able to do so, but it's an unrealistic goal in my situation. I have a husband, two stepdaughters, a very needy cat, a very needy dog, several jobs, two blogs, and a social life, as well as my writing and other artistic endeavors (which include a lot of cosplays for myself and other people, modding a Nerf gun, making AMV's/GMV's, filming and video editing, political activism, photography, and music). Occasionally I will reply to a review or a PM if it strikes a chord in me or I feel the need to clarify something, or if the person was asking a question, but I just can't do it all the time. I'm sorry. Know that I read and save every review and PM alert that I get and that they mean the world to me. I promise. As always, if you have a specific question, please feel free to PM me directly and I will do my best to answer them.
