Perhaps anything of importance that can be said at all about me when it comes to writing is that my muse is really mean. He/she/it doesn't like me very much, so I'm often either left high and dry or I'm bombarded with so many ideas at once that I can't even sort them out properly. That, of course, leaves me to wallow in major writer's angst half the time. It's ridiculously easy for me to get discouraged about my own writing, because I'm always feeling as though it's not good enough. And it most likely isn't, but I try. At the end of the day, though, I enjoy writing and I have fun doing it... so I suppose that's all that really matters.
That said, I'm very grateful to all those who take the time to actually leave one of my stories a review. Since I've never had a beta for any of my stories, reviews are sometimes the only substitute I have for a swift kick in the arse or a pat in the head for going in the right/wrong direction. And just so we're clear- you'll never hear me threat readers about lack of reviews and not updating until I get a certain amount of reviews.
---------- Notes on Chaptered Fic Status ----------
The Feelings Within: On indefinite hold until I find the inspiration and time to continue. Still trying to decide if it's worth tackling again after so long, but if I do get around to it- it won't be until at least after PotW and CoD is finished.
Pictures on the Wall: Yes, it's my goal to finish this monster before I die. :p Chapter 19 is in progress and about 90 percent finished. Early-middle chapters are also in the process of editing. Those are shameful. Seriously.
Cycles of Destiny: After putting the story on hold for almost 4 years, I've revived it once more as of 06/2006. All previous 6 chapters have been deleted, revised, and reposted. A new, though very short, prelude has been added as well. New content will begin with chapter 7, but if you're an old reader, I would recommend reading the revisions as well. While I've kept to the original plot line, there were also a few changes or additions made.
Defining Moments: My ShikaTema project where I'll probably be updating with random drabbles and one-shots that I write for Naruto's Shikamaru and Temari. I love the pairing to death and couldn't resist contributing a little to the fandom, even if I'm not so great at writing them. Just something to do for fun on the side while I complete my longer fics!
