Happy 2012, fellow fanfic peoples! Did you miss me? Do you realize I've been on this site, running my mouth since 2004? Holy crap. XD Do you realize that before I put up my latest story (which has received positive reviews so far - thank you all!!!) I hadn't posted anything in two years? I'm pretty awesome. Although, if you came from reading something I wrote, you already knew that. XP If you came from reading a review I left, hopefully I've written something in a fandom you're familiar with, if you wanna take one of my stories for a spin. It's one thing to hear you've done well (woo!) or not so well (sad face goes here) with certain characters by a reviewer, it's another entirely when you can read how that reviewer portrays the same characters. I, personally, find the latter equally, if not more beneficial. That's not to say I don't want concrit, or can't take it; I've received it many times, here, on my papers when I was in college, and anytime I submit an original screenplay or story for critique. I very much appreciate constructive criticism and having any grammar/spelling errors pointed out in my work. I tend to become aggressive when I see unnecessarily harsh reviews that express opinions as though they were facts, especially when they're directed at some of the kindest, most creative and gifted authors I've ever known. You can pick my stuff apart sentence by sentence, you can leave me a smiley face for a review, or anything in between. Doesn't bother me anything like it does when I see it done to my favorite authors. XD For reals, though... I really do want to hear what you all thought of my stories, new or old, one-shot or longer, and while it's nice to be able to turn around and find you've written something I'm familiar with so I can reciprocate, it's not necessary. I will never intentionally ignore your review. Assuming it's signed or I have contact info, that is. If you reviewed me and I never thanked you, I'm terribly sorry! Feel free to PM me and tell me, "You're welcome, buttwipe." Or something to that effect. I'll know what you mean. If the word "mistress" in the pen name didn't give it away, I am indeed a chick. I like video games. And sleep. And ice cream. And kitties. And taking pictures of my action figures groping each other. (The Advent Children figures, in particular, are quite posable.) I have two tattoos. (The Umbrella logo from Resident Evil and Carbuncle from Final Fantasy VIII. I'll get the FOXHOUND logo at some point, I'm thinking.) I have met 1/2 of the A-Team. I have told 1/4 of the A-Team that I named one of my Nintendogs after him. Dwight Schultz OWNS and you know it. And if you don't know it, I will make you know it.
