I am the Duelist's Heiress, here to please both Phantom of the Opera , and Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. Though Yu-Gi-Oh! seems to have my written strength, I have completed a POTO Fic. Is it odd that my POTO fics are terribly short? Be warned, you WILL find phantom references within my non-POTO fics, intentionally or otherwise.I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoy putting them in there.

So take a seat, read and immerse yourself in these hopefully well-woven stories of my creation. Even if you don't read mine, feel free to look around and find something you like. Past Recommendations:

Fall 2010: Sympathetic Intervention by AnimeMangaAngel. My first and possibly only recommendation from the Harry Potter fandom. As I do not wish to spoil it for you, or have my summary not do it justice, you will just have to read it for yourself.

December 2009/January 2010 : Take Two by Love The Scottish Angel. A very intriguing Modern Day EC Story. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. As I am so late getting December's recommendation up, this will be a recommendation for next month as well.

November 2009: To Be Loved by H.D. Kingsbury Even though it's EC it's very interesting.

October 2009: Ordeal By Fire by Violet Skye Great Erik OC story, very well-written. Great Read

August 2009: Two years on here, so two fics are recommended this month!! Sunshine and Moonshine by Nintendo Queen and Eternal Snow Revised Edition by Serena-hime. While these stories do not succeed each other or seem like they have a thing in common, both are really good, and complement each other really well.

July 2009: In your Mind by Shvon. An eventual, I hope, Marik X OC. It's a really interesting story, one that seems to be a self-imposed challenge by the author. Personally I think she is doing very well.

June 2009: Heart of the Cards by Asiera. You just have to take my word that this is a good story; I can't find accurate words to summarize the fic and do it justice.

May 2009: Truce by Larsgo. Although Manga-based this is a really good friendship Oneshot. Joey & Tea

April 2009: Change is Inevitable by Rugrat247. A Sinister goddess has been sentenced to a mortal life in order to possibly mend her ways. But will someone who also has ways to mend prevent this from happening, or can certain events save them both? Marik X OC

March 2009: Wow a year of recommendations already? Well, why don't we go for two, years and recommendations. Playing Tragic by Erik's Champion, and YuGiOh: Charater Poems by KageNoNeko are my recommendations for this month. Each a collection of seperate stories/ poems under one category. The character poems are all set during or after the Ceremonial duel, and the tragics are really good on insight to characters.

February 2009- I have a lot of Romance Stories in my favorites, and I recommend all of them; so pick one, and please review it; the authors appreciate it.

January 2009- For the first month of the year how about a few Oneshots: A Place Nearby (YGO) by Ever Never Again, A Present for Little Lotte (POTO) by Crystal Rose of Pollux, Decieved (YGO) by Nuit Songeur. All of these are really cute I totally recommend them.

November, December2008- Eine Mitternachtsstimme by Crystal Rose of Pollux. Sequel to Folgen Sie Ihrem Traum (August's recommendation) After the events in Paris, Seto's troubles are not over yet. With Vulsor out of prison, and Bandit Keith on him, he wants to believe he can do this alone, but can he really?

October 2008- Treasures of Egypt by HD Kingsbury. A very interesting Phantom Fic that takes Erik to Egypt.

September 2008- Whispers of the Forest Elves by Crystal Rose of Pollux. A cute Raoul Christine fic that follows them as they chase after the legends that violinist, Gustave Daae has told them of. But when they go looking for the Forest elves, the violinist's daughter and her commodore get caught in a storm.

August 2008-Folgen Sie Ihrem Traum by Crystal Rose of Pollux. Sequel to Geheimnisse im Tanzsaal, my recommendation for April. Tea joins a dance troupe, but due to some unwanted attention, things don't go as smoothly as planned. Meanwhile Seto Kaiba is tracking down an "unknown" threat to his company. When their paths cross at multiple points, is it a mere coincidence?

July 2008- Geek Squad? Not Anymore by black-heart-green-eyes. Kaiba goes to a high school reunion, and runs into the geek squad. But all is not as it was fifteen years prior. It's really good.

May 2008-Beneath The Valley-by Crystal Rose of Pollux. This is a really neat Phantom of the Opera Story. There are cameos to a certain anime here, but that just adds to the story.

April 2008-Geheimnisse im Tanzsaal-by Crystal Rose of Pollux. If you like Lucky Ladybug's mystery stories, this is an interesting one that will keep you on the edge of your seat. POTO references make an appearance every now and then, but that's part of the fun.

March 2008-Forbidden Feelings, by KaiTheKaizokuQueen. This is where the inspiration for PDTO came from, and please read and review it. It's really good.

Yu-Gi-Oh:

Something that I forgot to mention in my stories: “This" is telepathic conversation, while this, is just thoughts that no one else but the character hears.

I don't usually update on Sundays. If I do anything, it will be minor revisions. At minimum, I will add a chapter a week.

About pairings:I have no favorite or least favorite pairings. I will tell you one thing though. Some characters, such as Marik Ishtar and Seto Kaiba, go better with original characters that have never met them than characters already in the series. I will read a story that uses characters in the series in a romance, but it has to be really good. However, I have developed a fondness for Seto & Serenity. I still like Marik & OC fics though, and to that, I intend to stay true.

My OC that you will become quite familar with through my fan fics is Mheralo Ishtar. I honestly am trying not to make her a Mary-Sue, but sometimes it will seem like she is. I can't help it. I will put her in more of a support role in the later stories. Also you will find a ton of new cards that are hers and hers alone. I have also given the correctly assumed impression that Marik is older than in the original Anime. Other OCs will pop in and out, but once you know them, it will feel like they have always been there. I hope you enjoy my stories.I welcome suggestions for quotes, plots, and other things. My Stories, a little summary of each, and abbriviations:

Acceptance (One Shot):Kaiba visits the Museum after the memory arc reveals all twists, needing to accept his denials. Tea follows Kaiba seeing that he needs another kind of acceptance (Mild Azureshipping)

A Jeweler's Perfect Combination(JPC, or "Jeweler"):Marik Ishtar is a lonely, cold-hearted, amethyst-eyed individual who trusts no one. (not that it's a bad thing) That is, until he bumps into Filiron Rylae, a firey, passive quiet girl with emerald eyes.After Marik rescues her, his world is turned upside down, he begins to trade his loner attitude, his stone heart, and perhaps even his love, a love that he never knew existed. Amethyst and Emerald may indeed be a jeweler's perfect combination.

A Serene Rose (ASR):What starts out as a normal day for Serenity Wheeler with her two friends turns into a fiasco, as do all normal events in my fanfics, She must team up with Seto Kaiba, and thwart the plans of an evil organization and rescue her friends, all the while growing closer to the CEO. This was wriiten for a friend of mine who suggested I try my hand at a Seto x Serenity fanfic. Enjoy the reading.

Between The Roses (BTR): Sequel to Phantom Phases. Love waits in the silence for two people. Can a man who was a lifeless Phantom bring them together with a haunting melody of the soul? OC XOC with Erik's help.

Golden Conversation (GC): “Sequel” to With This Ring. A literal trip down memory lane for my favorite self-written father daughter Duo. Contains Powers Tril Spoilers.

Healing Presence (He. Pr.): Marik is ill, and the only one he will allow near him is his daughter. But little does he know that her being there is what aids in his healing.

Phantom Duelists of the Opera (PDTO):The theatre club is putting on a presentation of "The Phantom of the Opera", and the whole Yu-Gi-Oh Gang is involved from l the lead actors to the stage hands. But when the Millenium Ring appears at the auditions things start getting stranger. Contains Powers Spoilers. Time: After Battle City Before Ceremonial Duel

Phantom Phases (PH PH):Christine and Erik both look into the night sky each seeing a different side of "The Phantom of the Opera" My first POTO Fic. Complete

Phantom Prompted Oneshots: Similar to my other Prompted oneshots, except with Phantom pairings instead.

Powers Trilogy Book I: Powers Revealed(PR): Mheralo Ishtar is no ordinary child. She is extraordinarily talented, she just doesn't realize it yet. But when items start floating, and she sees something that could never have been expected; her father, Marik begins to suspect something more. Time: Before Duelist Kingdom.

Prompted Oneshots: As the title suggests, the stories here are oneshots based on prompts that I found on a livejournal community, 30 Nights. Will be the following unofficial shippings: Amesthysteel, and Jewel, along with my usual Marik & Mhera story type.

Rite of Heritage (RoH):A tournament is underway in Egypt. Keimo, Mhera, and Marik recieve a letter requiring one of them to participate. Unfortunately two of them are unable to participate. But when they see that the prize is enough to pay for an operation that one of them wants desperately, they pose this question... Who does the rite of heritage belong to? Meanwhile Mhera is called to discover the mystery of the silent war, and prevent that time in history from repeating itself in the modern era. (This is the touney mentioned in PDTO)

Veracity (Ver): Telling the truth is sometimes difficult, the fact that they hurt makes it even harder. Written in a slight style imitation of Healing Presence.

Stories in the works:

A Father's Wish: Mheralo Ishtar receives a letter from her father after one of the most troubling ordeals of her life. Those words bring her comfort that only a father can provide. I'll definitely write this one, when, is the key. It will be a prompted Oneshot as I get towards the end of Battle City in the Powers series.

There are several things that are important to me, one of which is the consideration of the facts that are presented in this section:

1. There are two things that I will not take kindly in a review: Profane language. Come on people, I’m sure you can express your displeasure at how you think my OC’s a Mary-Sue without showing colorful language. Bashing just hurts the writer’s confidence. Profanity is my main pet peeve, because reviews are for everyone to read. I WILL report profanity on any of the reviews I get.

2. Most Yu-Gi-Oh fics I write fall into the same Alternate Universe where Marik has a daughter and son, other than that, no major changes. The Powers Saga is where the AU has most effect.

3. I put a character Out of Character on purpose, for the sake of story development. Usually, if they're out of character, a huge event brings them back into character, as to when it occurs, you just have to read to find out.
